*gasps* Lupin bit Harry! What a twist! *bounces around insanely* That was like - shocking, I swear. And poor Harry, I hope they don't fire him for being a werewolf... and poor Remus! He must have felt SO guilty. *cries* Great chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you, and yes I treat Remus a little roughly in this chapter. But he'll cheer up.

A WEREWOLF?! *screams* Oh, this is getting so GOOD! :D

Author's Response: *grins from ear to ear*

I loved the Ron-Hermione-Harry reunion, very sweet, very fun. Another wicked chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks. I liked writing the Trio moments.

I. Am. Confused. Aw, I was hoping Cho wouldn't be a human-hosepipe any longer - but we can't have everything in life, huh? Great chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks. Cho was... a parenthesis. I love human hosepipes, they bring a little colour and a lot of water in this grey world (and I officially need a coffee before I start replying to my reviews...).

Eek! I love the first chapter, and usually that means I'm going to love the whole story! Harry's really depressing - but in a good way. :D

Author's Response: Depressing in a good way? Lol. How did I manage that? ;) Thanks for the review, I'm happy you liked the chapter.

Impressive and interesting. The Cho thing was well kind of weird.

Author's Response: Thank you. The Cho thing is explained in later chapters.

OMG! What was awesome is I felt like Jo could have written it herself. Awesome job. And I am so picky so this is a major compliment

Author's Response: Well it feels like it. Thanks a lot!

Lol yay, 2 updates! I thought this chapter had a bit of a slow start, but once I got into it I loved it. I like the little details you threw in, like this one from the old lady: “Do you youngsters think you’ll be more attractive by starving yourselves?”.” Reminds me of a few people I know. XD

That bit with Dapne is very interesting...makes me wonder if she too is a 'wolf-creature' (for lack of anything better to call it, lol).

I was somewhat disappointed in Lance...I hadn't thought he was the traitorous type...but I suppose that if anything will break apart a friendship, it's seeing your best friend horribly murder someone in cold blood. Yeah, that'll do it. ;)

Nice chapter, excellent writing as usual, and thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to write and update!

Author's Response: The slow start was a, maybe a tad to long but necessary, bit of character development. Had to explain why Harry didn't say plain and simple, "Okay then. Let's go back in the Forest!"

There's more Daphné and Lance to come in the next chapter, that I have begun writing despite all common sense.

Thanks for the review, the compliments, and our thanks :).

Author's Response: ...our = your. Sorry. >_<

Such gory and tense and well written moments!!! Great job on capturing Harry's hero impulses as well. I love the way this story is going!

Author's Response: Thanks, and I'll try to keep it going just as well.

I started reading this on TheDarkArts.org. Will it continue there or are you posting here exclusively? I read the second half of A Slytherin - A Gryffindor over there recently. Second question. Are they the same or is this a re-worked version of the other? Do I have to start again from the beginning? Please tell me no.

Author's Response: I post the same text everywhere.

YAY! Goodness harry is getting intense! I can't wait to see what happens in the forest, not to mention breakfast with McGonigal that's if there even is breakfast. Heres hoping for a quick validation! :D

Author's Response: I hope so too! Thanks for the review!

Aaaaah! The second part is still not validated! I can't wait to read it!.. annoying rules really. But, on the other hand, readers will have to review both chapters. :D

Again, this was a great, discriptive chapter. I was a bit disappointed at Lance. I don't know why, but I thought he'd come to his senses after he sorts everything in his head & stay on Harry's side. I think, having a trusted friend, although as nonchalanced as Lance, even after knowing such secrets about him would change a lot in him. He doesn't seem to be willing on seeking a friend, so maybe a friend should remind him of what good it'd do him to.

I still can't believe you killed Ron! That's awful! & everything was starting to get good for Harry!

Author's Response: The rule is apparently merely due to the fact that the archive messes up chapters over 10k words.

Your analysis of Lance's behaviour is quite good, and said behaviour will become clearer in the next chapter (not the one waiting for validation, the real next one). Harry is, and should be, relatively independent, but having friends is still important to him.

And I didn't kill Ron. Okay, I put him in a coma, which isn't much better, but I didn't flat out kill him.

Author's Response: Oh yes, forgot. Thanks for the review. :)

Oh. My. Wow.

I just discovered this fic about and hour and a half ago, and I haven't been able to stop reading since.

This is excellent. Superb. Wonderful. Pick an adjective. I love the way you're portraying Harry--his emotions, his thoughts, it's all so real. I also love how original your plotline is--I see so many fics that are just different versions of the exact same thing that it's quite refreshing to find something that doesn't fit the mold.

I'm looking forward to reading more. :)

Author's Response: "Pick an adjective..." Can I have all of them? :P Thank you very much for the review, I'm happy you like the story and the writing style. You'll get more to read as soon as the second part of the chapter is vaildated!

And rejoice I shall! Another update and, what's more, two!! I'm intensely excited. Now for my thoughts.
Well, I must admit, I'm quite happy that Malfoy is dead - the little twat deserved it, after all. But it is a definite shame about Lance. Harry needs a confidante and if Lance can't be there for him...I don't know...It's just bad for him to be alone, I feel.

And what is this Daphne Greengrass business!? Intense moment of connection, noticed by both...man, I have no clue where you're going with it, but I do know that it's going to be good!

I'm excited for Harry's transformation. I think it's normal for him to be afraid of the forest after all he's experienced in it. Honestly, I'd be more surprised if he was okay with it. And perhaps he shall meet that most intriguing figure crouched outside his apartment...I'm really curious as to who she is!

Anyways, great job, as always. Hope school is going well for you. Best wishes!!

Author's Response: Thank you for yet another good review! I'll do my best to make the Daphne business as good as you expect it to be. As for Harry's transformation, you'll be able to see all about it as soon as the second part of the chapter is validated.

Thanks again for the review.

Very long chapters- but enjoyable none the less... I stayed up until 3:00 A.M reading the whole thing ;)
