I've read this before and it was no less brilliant the second time around. I love your characterisation of Snape and his insite into Draco's behaviour. I think my favourite part was Draco saying his prayers - the good things better keep coming and if they don't Draco will want to know why - excellent.
Oh my gosh! That was so strangely sweet!! I loved it!! I haven't had any idea how to react to Snape from book one 'til about five chapters until the end of the series. I really enjoyed this fic. Thanks os much for letting us enjoy it!!
this is so well written. i love it!! do you have any other stories about snape?
Author's Response: Thanks! Er, yeah, you might say I have a couple. Check the authorpage... ;)
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove it
I like this a lot because it makes the reader Snape and you almost feel bad for Draco.
Fantastic!
I love the style, the way the story sort of meanders, and the use of the present tense. You characterize Draco brilliantly, and still keep true to Lucius' character as well. The characterization of Snape is also beautifully done. I enjoyed every second of this story, how practical Snape was, how annoying little Draco was. Great work. I'm very glad I read this.
Very lovely. The second-person voice is not easy to pull off (I know from experience), but this was exactly the right place to use it. Also the very difficult balancing of Snape's disdain, his fear, his dignity and even (gasp!) a little compassion, was handled beautifully. The voicing is superb. Well done. ~Ken
Sweet. Malfoy was a spoilt little brat even then.:)
Very daring to put it in second person, but I'm glad you did, the effect was marvellous.
I love this.
A lot.
It's extremely well written, and the point of view is very unique.
Well done.
A really charming, inventive, well-written little story. I like it a lot.
Cool story. I like the concept of Severus being Draco's godfather.
i really like this outlook on draco malfoy. too often are there stories submitted that basically divide the world of harry potter into 'good people and death eaters'. i, personally, am very intrested in the early life of many characters who are shown as one-dimensional--in draco's case, cruel and cunning, pureley malfoy; not showing us a side of him that he hides, perhaps a side that enjoys baking--such as umbridge or skeeter, the malfoys, or even someone like cormac mclaggen, who isnt necicarily 'bad'.
i really enjoyed this. thank you.
Cute and very, very realistic, if I might add. I really liked it, because I've never read a thing like this on Mugglenet before. Good job! Quite worthy of Kudos, I'll say!
Great job!
wow! this is such a good story! I loved the ending. There was something to it that made it stand out and shine, if only for a little bit.
Great story! Not at all what I expected from a story about Snape putting a little Draco to bed. Very, very well written, I know the "you" tense can be hard to write in. I loved the last two lines at the end.
