Chapter: Keeping Guard

loved it! liked the emphasis on characters we normally don't hear about. well done!

Author's Response: Thanks! Actually, my fear is it turned out a bit rushed, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

hey
i am generally VERY impressed by your stories... you are one of my favorite authors and i think you would be an amazing writer in a few years... but i must say i think this story was a rather weak one. because of the time frame, it was already rather confusing for me and the descriptions with the names coming later on were hard to understand. and i thought the ending was rather rushed. i totally didn't see that couple coming and it didn't seem like they felt anything for eachother before that moment and just wanted to have a few last moments of happiness.
but i do get your message of overall contentness and love even in a time of dark and sadness.
so.. think about it. you don't have to redo it... but maybe make sure youre your readers will understand what you are trying to convey before you submit the story.
overall, i do love you stories though.

Author's Response: You're right, this story was VERY rushed. It was a writer's duel, which means I thought up, wrote, and submitted the whole thing in no more than a day (which may sound like a lot, but is really not that much to me, since it usually takes me ages just to come up with an original plot)... but I hope people liked it all the same!

That was good...At first I was a bit confused when you mentioned "Potter" but then I figured it was James because...I just felt that it was. Hehe.

Author's Response: Thanks!
