In the poem, you spelt straight wrong

Author's Response: Lol, yes, I know. Sad that I mentioned that Harry checked to make sure everything was spelled correctly and then did that.

Dear my lovely SPEW buddy, whom I love,

I love this! Harry/Ginny are one of my favourite ships and you write them well!

Ron and Hermione's snogging was a bit nauseating. I don't see them jumping on each other like that, but that is me!

I love how you characterized Harry. His memories of Ginny and how he responded to her and her love of the personal ads was well done. Having him send one to the paper for her was brilliant! The whole part with him trying to make it perfect was funny and heartwarming!

The poem was...genius! I laughed and sighed, it was great! Having it be the only one on the page was a great touch!

"There would never be another Valentine laced with so much love and devotion." ~ I love this last line, it ends the fic so well! Heck, I love the whole last paragraph! It has such imagery! You use all of the senses! Well, except taste, but that would be hard unless you had her lick the paper.

Anyway...I really like this fic! It is beautiful and heartwarming! *adds to favorites*

Author's Response: LOL, Leah love, you are too much! Thank you so much for the lovely review, it came on a day that I really needed a lift. I am so glad you were my SPEW buddy this month, and hope our friendship continues to grow! *hug*

EEEE!! Um. *cough* Wonderful!

I like Ginny's reading of the paper. I think it's accurate to her personality -- she faces the dark when she has to, but why go looking for it? Much better to look for the light.

I also like the bit about Harry being left out by the other two. They love him, but they love each other, and that does tend to push other things out of the way.

Harry had just smiled at her at the time- most often the personal ads were filled with advertisements for secondhand cauldrons or crup puppies for sale.
Good transferring of Muggle ideas (the personal ads) into the Wizarding World, pretty flawlessly. The little cat-woman ad is cute.

There's a few grammatical things in here:

Harry had asked one day reading over her shoulder.
This should be a comma, instead of a period. If you want, you could do away with "reading over her shoulder" entirely. It helps the flow, but it does get rid of detail that you probably want to keep.

The boys cringed, as Hermione suddenly looked excited...
The comma should either be a semicolon or split in two sentences.

Your hair so soft and so strait
I think that's supposed to be "straight"?

Harry's poem made me smile, and I love how he spends two hours on a four-line poem! It's obvious he loves her and wants to give her something special.

VERY cute, very well written. I'll have to check out more of your stuff!

Author's Response: OMG! Katie!!! Thank you soooo much! I love a good detailed review, even when my typos are pointed out. Thank you so much!!!! *huggles*

*puts down tap shoes disappointedly.....well at least someone i like reviewed first!* Oh, you already know I love it! And a new plot bunny has formed, but it needs a bath to get polished up, preferrably minus glitter stars. Before I forget, I laughed when Hermione left him alone because she thought he was working on homework.

Author's Response: Oh God! Don't remind me about that bath! (to those who don't know, I had a bath bomb a while back full of glitter- further humiliating details are in my blog, the link is on my profile.) I am anxious to see what it is! He he he, Hermione that gal can be as single minded as Ron sometimes, only her passion is homework rather than food! Thank you my dear for the lovely review, and even though you weren't first, you doubled the number I reviews I already had!
