A lovely story.
I would have thought that the whole truth would be told to Ron...the blackmailing of Harry etc...but maybe it did at some point.
One idea that cropped up in my mind two or three times, was Harry telling Ginny about the blackmail (before the match) and going off and getting married so Emily couldn't marry Harry no matter the outcome of the match.
Now I better find out about the actual story this was kinda based on and bed would be a good idea as I have been reading this fic for 5 and a half hours straight and it is one thirty in the morning!
I can't help feeling that this note could be easily explained....are Hermione and Harry deliberately letting Ron hear this...or is there something I'm not getting...and as there is only one chapter left...
I knew she took a note and at the time I couldn't think what letter she had got hold of....and then I forgot all about it.....jeez this is nail biting stuff (pure brilliance!)
Yes! Yes! Yes! And please no arrests for giving her what was coming! Thank goodness Riley was there to shove Ginny back to reality....Why did Emily admit the engagement was "off" at the moment but due "on" tomorrow. I think she gave away too much (not that I'm complaining!).
I have been wondering for some time why Harry, who has always loved Ginny, got involved and then engaged to |Emily in the first place....or was some potion, enchantment etc used...but then the few scenes between them have shown at least lust on Harry's part
I've got to say this is THE most exciting HP fan fic I think I have ever read (well including, of course, the JKR HP universe!!)

So Emily hasn't disappeared...I think Ginny should be the one to "sort her out once and for all"...a few well placed hexes (hee hee!)

It's lovely that Ron doesn't care if Hermioine might not have her "magic" anymore...as long as she's alive.
I know Ron's past sins are caught up on him...but iif it hadn't been for Emily and her evil plans. BTW, where has she got to and did she come after Ron because of Harry, or was idid she not know of the connection between them? I tend to go with the former rather than the latter.
I was worried Ron, in his gormlessness, was going to "decline" the phonecall!! I hope Remus, Draco and Harry have not been "set up"
I'm surprised Remus didn't ask Harry about he blackmailing....or did he?
I really hope Harry confides in Ron and Ginny...
Nothing is ever simple for Harry. He and Ron have got themselves in a right twist!
I have espepcially registered with this site because I have enjoyed this story SO much, it seemed criminal not to review!! I love the way the flash backs are beginning to flesh out the back story. I'm a true HG shipper but I actually enjoyed the scene between Harry and Emily. I've also never seen/read "The ideal husband" but I have full intentions of rectifying that after finishing this fic. Emily is a real piece of work...what on earth has Harry got himself into!!!
