OMG... you really made me cry... this fic is incredible. The way you write, how Hermione realizes she's seen so much, how she leaves Hogwarts behind for good, joined by her all-time enemy, forgiven by Dumbledore in death... I don't know what to say, but I really loved it. I'm strangely taken with the Hermione/Draco-parship, and I think this is one of the best I've ever read, because it's one where both of them (and the other heroes as well) actually grow old...
Normally I'm not the kind of person to leave such long reviews, but I really, really needed to let you know how much your little one-shot affected me... :'-(

I do have to say that although this story was a nice thought my mind is somehow now tainted with the image of an old draco malfoy-ew!!

This story is much better on the second read. ;) At first, although I admired the beautiful way it was written and the originality of the idea, I wasn't overwhelmingly fond of it because to me it seemed more a Hermione/Ron than a Hermione/Draco romance. But now, reading it again, it feels so right, so sweet, almost perfect. The way you depict Hermione leaving Hogwarts and thinking herself too old and weary - I can really feel it as well, the mood, the atmosphere, the sensation. And then the description of the White Tomb and the way they hear the phoenix song and feel hopeful and alive once again... and the last paragraph was simply marvelous. And, I got this odd feeling of Dumbledore witnessing the scene from another world and smiling contently to himself...

Author's Response: Thank you! I feared that myself that it might turn out too Hermione/Ron. And it's a nivce idea about Dumbledore, happy to see other people happy, promoting love even years after his death...

i have to correct something. I didn't mean just dumbledore's grave, but everything that is connected to it. Like the song of the phoenix. I have always loved the thought, that dumbledore is never gone from hogwarts untill someone who remebers him is there. And your story is based on these words. There was one question that came in my mind: why doesn't hermione want to bother harry, but i guess.. it brings back painful memories??

Author's Response: Actually, what I was thinking about while writing that line was that she felt alone; Harry and Ginny had each other and she had nobody that close and that distanced her from them.

one-shot...again:( ok.. this ane is even better than the snow in london. Personally, i have never liked the hermione-draco thing, but this story is different.. it just is sweet and it seems real. There is nothing that just is, you have explained why everything happens, like why they leave together to hogsmeade.. It seems like it could really happen.. there is no fairytales in this story. I love it.. and the description of dumbeldore's grave.. The farewells are a bit sad, but then, i guess, saying goodbye always is

Author's Response: Actually, I usually don't ship Hermione/Draco, but well, a friend of mine asked me to write something... and so I tried to do something different from the usual ones...
