I liked the ending. The only part of the whole story I didn't like was that Ron called Hermoine a Mudblood, something that surprised me. It seems that he would be more incensed over Dolohov calling her that name than implying that she was Harry's. I don't know though...I liked the story a lot though.
Author's Response: I haven't read through this story in ages, but I seem to remember that he was sort of clumsily (as usual) stepping in to champion Hermione. I don't recall Harry being an issue for Ron at that moment. *should go back and re-read the story once in a while.* Anyway, very glad you liked it!
Oh, that's so sad. It's fitting that Ron says his duty is to protect them and sacrifice himself if it comes to it...The same thing happened in Sorceror's Stone. It's still so upsetting though...
Lovely story, Andrea. I love the detail you’ve put into this chapter. The ideas and imagination for the enchantments guarding the Horcrux were brilliant. Many writers come up with lousy ideas but yours had me sitting at the edge of my seat, wondering if they would make out safely.
I also loved your portrayal of Ron. I love that he was the hero in this chapter and that acting on his gut feeling actually got them out alive, even though he was hurt in the process.
With that statement, Ron was accosted by a thought completely inappropriate to the situation and had to suppress it.
“I saw a big scary thing and just did the first anti-big-scary-thing spell I could think of.
Your small additions of some comedy made the chapter even more enjoyable. It was serious, yes, but these moments made it seem even more real.

i didn't review the other chapters so i could just do it all at the end. that was a really really well done story, i really injoyed it. :) it wasn't to mushy, everyone was in character, it was just really good :) excellent job. :D
Many stories can get carried away and have crazy subplots that make you angry....but this was excellent. I like how nothing was rushed -- Hermione and Ron had a good pace in the story which impressed me. Thank you so much for this excellent story.
