Aw, cute as.
Great little fic. I've never read a Peter/Sirius before.. i liked yours... see, i don;t get much time to read so i really only read the pairings i know and like (Harry/Draco Hermione/Draco and such)
but i like to branch out. and you are a great writer.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm not sure there are many Peter/Sirius stories out there, but stubbornly maintain it makes sense. I appreciate the review, and the pat on the head too.
i like this story...you don't really get to see to many stries that end out good for peter...well, since the latest book anyways...it was refreshing to see one!
Author's Response: Thanks! This is just one of those weird little VV theories that made it all the way up to 'story' somehow. Everyone always says Peter must have been good for something within the group...
okaaaaayyyyyyyyy. thats weird. really good story though. keep writing. email me @ Deleted by Mod when u r done with the next chapter. thanks. oh, i read, i think it was by you. that story blue. i put it in my faves. email me back when you update either one. thanks! you seem to specialize in these type of stories. have you written anything else? as i said b4, EMAIL ME!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks
Author's Response: RE: written anything else? Click on the author name -- I'm under the ten most prolific authors on "The Tens" over there as well (for the moment, anyway.) Are you sure it's a good idea to be posting an email address out here in front of absolutely everyone? Especially on "these type of stories"?
oooh, very good
Author's Response: Thanks!
Awww, I've never read a Peter/Sirius fic before, but I'm glad I picked this one. The way peter laid in sirius' hair is very cute, makes me feel all mushy inside. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I've never found a Peter/Sirius fic before, but somewhere out there others are sure to exist, no? Making them cute feels like a real accomplishment. Thanks again for reviewing!
not exactly a pair that i would have placed together... but you are a good write nad you made it work! good job! -samee
Author's Response: Thanks! I just love rarepairs. And this one just makes such sense to me -- wouldn't Sirius trust his lover with the Secret?
*claps* Well done, dear heart. ;)
Author's Response: Thank you! *bows*
Again, you have a very consistent world here, and this fits in very well and is about a million times better than the Ron/Draco story.... "A million??" you say? Well, just getting into the spirit of some of the reviews I've read around this site... Perhaps not a million, literally. Shall we say, I have not a single suggestion?
Author's Response: Hmm... I wrote a reply and the computer ate it. I had thought this the more abrupt story, to be honest, of the two SSPs. However, I'd gotten a little static on the Snapish innuendos of the main fic and decided to back them up a bit. You have indeed gotten into the spirit of the thing -- but if, as your email says, you are new to fanfic, you are probably unaware of the HMS WolfStar, a noble and battle-hardened ship that fights mightily for the belief that Remus and Sirius are a couple and have been for ages. Personally, though I seem to be very much alone on this, I think the RatStar makes far more sense with canon.
Oh my goodness--VV you are so clever--you can even write (sorry!) squicky pairings really good!Peter really does squick me, but once again, that morbid curiosity of mine led me to blissfully read and review.
Firstly, I thought the part about poor Sirius being "led by his nose" to "deeply embarrassing" things was quite funny, and it nicely helped to set up his halting willingness to participate in what transpired later that evening--brilliant.
You managed to keep Peter in character (or what I presume to be his character!) really well by just two small bits: 1. his line "you don't have to love me back" (which was chilling and creepily beautiful) 2. how he seemed to know Sirius fancied James but pressed on anyway.
Very Slytherin of our traitorous little Gryffindor. I hesitate to say that I approve of your Peter...! 10/10
Author's Response: I love morbid curiosity. You seem to have a lot of company in it; this little beast is getting quite a few reads. Poor Peter is never quite sure what he should try to expact out of life, I think, so bravely presses on with this little idea he's gotten. And as for Sirius -- I spend a lot of time with dogs, and know the side of their character that isn't all wags and loyalty. Poor Sirius indeed!
Thanks for the review!
Oh, V V, you know how I really feel about the fic. I just can't say it here or they'd come at me with pitchforks...
Author's Response: We want no pitchforks here! Nobody may pitchfork my beta -- on penalty of needing to buy a hip flask!
Disclaimer: I am the only person who is allowed to make any kind of comment along the lines that I am about to make because I am the beta and hold all rights to candid comments. I am also the queen of the Wolfstar ship. So: Blattigrew Padtail Wormfoot *shudders* Anyway you do it...it's just wrong.
Author's Response: Severus points out that at least it keeps either from reproducing. I think I'll just sit about smirking evilly for a bit.
Interesting pair. Personally I can't stand Peter. This was a well written beggining though. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Personally I don't much like Peter either -- but did Sirius? *wicked chuckle* Thanks for the review!
