That was a cute story - very well written. It's so sad that their dream will never come true, though. Keep up the good work :)

Great Story, Excellant work. I love how you made it so obvious that Lily and James really care for each other. This is a rarely good fic. You should be published, Cristina. No kidding.

Author's Response: Thank you so much Sarah. I am working hard on my own things as well but inspiration doesn't seem to come to me as much as it does with this subject ;-)

I love it!
It made me feel very good all the way through the story. I especially like the way how they are constantly teasing each other.
I only doubt they were married that early. They could have, of course. It seems the wizarding world Rowling created thinks differently about the age people get married and get children.

I love your specs and necklace. I like it when people come up with their own spells and items and such, it really makes your story your own and not just a copy from J.K. Rowling.

At the end of the story though, it all feels a bit rushed when James learns about the pregnancy. Other than that I think it was a wonderful one-shot, much like I would do it actually. Good job! :)

Author's Response: Thanks Dutchy. I'm glad you liked my specs and necklace. I wanted to make the story more believable and felt like I had to put something in that was my own.

Wow!

Ok, I'll start off with what I think of your story (even though the first word pretty much summed it up...). I loved how you set the mood for this story, with Lily and James living happily together, teasing each other in the exact way I would imagine them to. Just had to laugh when Lily said, "...Iíll come in and redo it later when you think youíre finished." =)

And also, it's kind of sadenning since at the same time, you know what's going to happen to them in about two years time. The reader can't help but think, 'here they are, without a worry in the world, perfectly happy, not having a clue of what's going to happen in the future...'

And just one small thing...In the part where you describe the picture of ten-year-old Petunia and Lily, laughing and clapping... Well, since we can safely assume that Lily didn't know about the Wizarding world until she was eleven, the pictures wouldn't exactly be showing any movement would they? Since the picture was obviously taken before that... Correct me if I'm wrong...

Overall, I would rate this story 9.9/10. Simply loved it! =)

Author's Response: Thank you for that lovely review. I hadn't thought about the picture. Let's just say Lily redeveloped it after having entered the wizarding world ;-)

*Wipes away tear...* I love this. I've never read a story about when Lily told James she was pregnant. It is written beautifully. I loved how they interacted. That is how I had imagined Lily would have teased James and how he would have teased her. It was bittersweet, because of what I know to happen later, but you made my forget for a moment that they don't live happily ever after. Very well done!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for that lovely review. You really seem to have gotten the essence of the story :-)

Wow this is amazing it is actually really touching and making me shed a few little tears. Your description on this is wonderful, I like how you keep James' fun and humor in his character, whilst your also show the serious side of him about the decorations. Also the way you introduced Lily been pregnant was excellent but if she was already two months gone wouldn't the baby be born in May or early June. Ignore me about pointing this out as it really fits your story perfectly. Well done you are very talented.

Author's Response: Thanks for the lovely review.

I did some math on the pregnancy. I counted in weeks (as you mostly do in pregnancy) and according to my calculations Harry was actually a few days premature ;-)

I like it. This is my kind of fic, pre-harry. It seems better than the cliched harry ones. Lily must be smart if she knows if it's a boy or girl when she's only 8 weeks pregnant.

Author's Response: Glad you liked. The fact that Lily knows it's a boy has nothing to do with her being smart. It's to emphasize her senses and intuition. The fact that a pregnant woman has a special bond with her unborn child.

*Is very flattered* I think I'm only a good beta because you are a good author. This story proves that completely. You've captured James and Lily's characters very well, with a plot that's simple but powerful. It does everything simply, but beautifully and any reader will tell you that's what they want.

Author's Response: Gosh. Thanks A. *blushes*

I hope this can go on for a long time. We make a good team ;-)
