A trendy New York City-based department store is peddling shoes designed to look dirty and duct taped for $585 ” but critics say it’s a fashion Michael Kors Outlet Online faux pas that glamorizes poverty.Barneys New York, Nordstrom, and other stores are selling new “distressed” Golden Goose Superstar sneakers, which come complete with fake dirt stains, tattered laces and taped-up holes, the Daily Mail reports. But someone should call Longchamp Sale the fashion police over the cruel-hearted kicks, which mock the poor, according to critics, who have taken to social media to blast the brand.‘This is poverty appropriation. I’ve got a pair of Adidas Sambas that are in that coach handbags state. The sole has a hole in them with cycling. Yours for £499,” the Scottish comedian Limmy slammed on Twitter.Another user quipped, “Just need a hint of the smell of urine and you have yourself a deal. £trampchic”Others michael kors outlet clearance called the homeless-chic shoes nothing but garbage.“Golden Goose sneakers are trash…Rich jerks will spend whatever to appear down to Earth/ Working class,” wrote Twitter user Michael Grimm. But some fashionistas stuck up for the shoes, claiming they “have meaning.”“Do Longchamp Handbags your research… Those ‘duct tape’ shoes will last longer than any Jordan. Golden Goose sneakers have meaning behind them,” one fashion buff Tweeted.Barneys and Golden Goose didn’t return requests for comment.
The cult fashion collective Vetements has introduced Longchamp Bag $800 hoodies and $280 DHL-branded T-shirts to the Vogue-reading elite. But can it convince its chichi clientele to embrace Juicy Couture velour?Well, it’ll try. The French label has announced that it’s partnering up with the trashy tracksuit purveyor michael kors ” which had its heyday in the mid-aughts ” for its next spring show, debuting Sunday. The collection will feature several collaborations with big brands like Reebok, Canada Goose and Comme des Garçons, in addition to Juicy, and comes Longchamp Outlet on the heels of Juicy’s announcement that ” two years after retiring its signature sweats ” it will be bringing back the much-maligned mall rat and sorority-sister staple to Bloomingdale’s this June. For those who don’t remember: Juicy was Michael Kors Handbags the O.G. athleisure label, building an empire out of bubble-gum-pink and baby-blue velour sweatpants and zip-up hoodies that assiduously clung the bodies of spray-tanned stars like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez. These ladies lived in these Coach Handbags $200 leisure suits, which often had “Juicy” in bedazzled letters splashed across the rear, and they would wear them with with flip-flops or Ugg boots on their paparazzi-captured Starbucks or supermarket runs. But, by 2010 or so, this michael kors outlet one-time status symbol had lost much of its lustre. (Paris was passé, Britney had a meltdown, the economic climate shunned flashy, bedazzled displays of wealth.) And Juicy dropped its tracksuits from its label entirely in 2014.But it seems michael kors bags that the Juicy suit is making a comeback ” and it’s getting a high-fashion gloss. For his show next week, Vetements designer Demna Gvasalia (who also heads Parisian fashion house Balenciaga) is creating evening gowns out of the coach factory outlet tracksuit’s plush velour material: “I love the comfort and the trashiness of it,” he told the Cut.Plus, the resurrection of Juicy velour is inevitable for a different reason. When the brand debuted in the mid-90s, the idea of coach outlet “luxe” sweatpants ” or of wearing sweats somewhere that wasn’t a gym ” was scandalous. Now, it’s de rigeur, with hip designers such as Stella McCartney and Yohji Yamamoto (and, um, Yeezy) peddling posh workout gear that one Longchamp Bags can wear to the office or the club. Even Vogue ” somewhat holding its nose ” published a piece online trying to convince readers that its editors are totally into the Juicy tracksuit and have found ways to michael kors outlet style the garment so it isn’t so naff. And if anyone can make the velour sweatsuit chic, it’s Vetements, which has managed to create a frenzy for all sorts of formerly frumpy items: Its DHL T-shirt features the logo Longchamp of the German express-mailing company. Fashion has a weakness for the past, taking previous eras’ ugliest castoffs ” like Birkenstocks, Tevas and tattoo-like chokers ” and turning them once again into pricey It items. For better or worse, Michael Kors Bags it’s now Juicy’s time to shine.
Life’s not a beach at women’s apparel company Chico’s FAS these days.Founded in 1983 on Florida’s Sanibel Island, selling Mexican folk art and cotton sweaters, the 700-plus store chain is embroiled in Coach Outlet a fierce proxy contest ” and management is spending serious money to fend it off.Activist investor Barington Capital Group, which has a 1.5 percent stake, launched its fight on May 24 taking issue with the company’s poor performance michael kors outlet online sale and its proposed board members, including one who works for a competitor ” and is demanding they not be put on the board.Bonnie Brooks, vice chairman of Hudson’s Bay Co., which owns Lord & Taylor and Saks Fifth coach factory Avenue, has an “obvious conflict of interest” on the Chico board, Barrington Capital stated in a 105-page presentation of its case released on Friday. The opus includes photos comparing apparel that Chico’s sells like its Soma bras to bras michael kors outlet online sold at Saks and Lord & Taylor, as well as similar looking tops, dresses and purses sold at those three retailers.“We believe that even a casual shopper recognizes that Hudson Bay Company’s department stores directly compete with [Chico’s] Coach Bags three brands in virtually every product category,” Barington Capital wrote. It’s also the latest salvo in an increasingly contentious contest on which Chico’s is spending almost $6 million, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings.Chico’s disputes that a conflict Longchamp Outlet is posed by Brooks, claiming in letters to its shareholders that its customers “overwhelmingly do not shop at Hudson’s Bay stores” ” pointing to surveys showing that its shoppers spend just 1.3 percent of their clothing budget at Coach Purses Saks or Lord & Taylor. Not everyone agrees.“It appears to be a genuine conflict that needs to be addressed by Chico’s or Hudson’s Bay,” said Francis Byrd, of Byrd Governance Advisory. The Fort Myers, Fla.-based retailer appeals mostly to women Coach Outlet Store Online 35 and up ” and like most apparel companies it’s been struggling with sagging sales. Its stock is down 34 percent over the past 12 months. Shares closed up 2.3 percent on Friday to $10.96.Late last year, Chico’s brought michael kors outlet online in a new chief executive, Shelley Broader, who has earned Wall Street analysts’ praise for the changes she’s implemented.Barington is asking for two board seats ” for its CEO, James Mitarotonda, and Janet Grove, a former vice chairman Michael Kors of Macy’s.
It’s going to get harder to find Coach bags at department stores ” and the luxury-goods maker thinks that’s a real plus. The New York company said Tuesday it is yanking its bags from department stores that michael kors purses cheapen its image by cutting prices too much.It didn’t name names but said that one in four department store locations would become a Coach-free zone. The emboldened leather-accessories brand, continuing a comeback after several years of sales declines, is Coach Outlet Online not the first brand of late to take aim at department stores.Michael Kors and Kate Spade, two much younger brands, both hinted at reeling in department-store distribution ” but neither was as specific in its plans as Coach. The coach purses 75-year-old company said it would pull back from some stores while reporting fourth-quarter profits that beat analysts’ estimates and same-store sales that rose 2 percent.Chief Executive Victor Luis said the pullback will hit 250 stores. Coach’s 450 stand- michael kors outlet alone stores in North America are not affected.“The idea was to exit low-volume, non-brand-enhancing locations and reduce markdown allowances,” said spokeswoman Andrea Shaw Resnick. It’s a bold move, say industry experts, who point out that Coach’s revenues will likely michael kors outlet decline at the expense of selling more products at full price and enhancing its brand image.Coach’s stock closed down 2.2 percent, to $40.52.While the move may give Coach some price support, carrying out the strategy won’t be easy, experts said.“There will be a lot of discussion between the merchants and Coach, Michael Kors Purses and [department stores] might push back and threaten to take Coach out of a flagship store,” said one indsutry source.“They each have cards in their hand.”
“I really love dresses, but I felt like it was the last thing I would wear to a show or film premiere,” says the Lower East Side resident. “You see all these grown women on the Michael Kors Outlet red carpet decked out like debutantes, and it doesn’t feel modern.”Bennett ended up settling on a Bianca Jagger-inspired white raw-silk pantsuit, with a dash of 1940s femme fatale mixed in.“I felt confident and relaxed and just so much michael kors handbags like myself,” she says. “And I can mix and match the pieces and wear it to dinner or work.”Part of the pantsuit’s resurgence has to do with the revival of 1970s styles, says Mears, including Yves Saint Laurent’s michael kors outlet online controversial Le Smoking ensemble ” a lady’s tuxedo that debuted in 1966 but reached peak popularity in the ensuing decade.Yet designers haven’t stopped at ’70s references. “You’re seeing a lot of suits with a shorter trouser that hits michael kors right above the ankle with a little flare,” says Sara DiMedio, co-founder of styling consultancy Le Curate. “It’s a really nice proportion.”DiMedio says that women are making the standard power uniform their own by going for rich brocades, Coach Outlet Store embroideries and even patches. But whichever flair they choose, the fit and proportion are key. “It’s all about tailoring: a nip in the waist, a nice neckline,” she says.“We’ve finally gotten away from thinking of the suit as coach outlet online a men’s piece just translated for women,” she continues. “Now, we’re thinking of it as these amazing, fashionable separates that women will actually want to wear.”

That was completely brilliant, seriously the best fan fiction I've read on this site. =)
You took us right inside Ginny's head, and everything was so believable, she stayed true to her character. I loved that.
You really have talent for this kind of writing.

Wel,l I have read a good number of Harry/Ginny ship stories, but I have to say that this is by far the best that I have ever read. As soon as I finished the second paragraph I knew that I had never read a Fic quite like this. The best part is that it doesn't read like a short story, but like a novel. The amount of detail and imagination made me feel that I just sat and read a 600 page book all at once. The emotion, the desperation, the desire that Ginny feels is as real as can be explained with words. It was as if I was inside her thoughts - living the situations through her eyes. I hope this is not the only story you will write...Your style deserves more chance to be seen!!! Masterfully well done!!!
