The song they dance to... Is it a real song? Or a "wizard song"?
Author's Response: A glitch in the Matrix! Second chance for me to say thank you for reading and asking the question. :)
The song they dance to... Is it a real song? Or a "wizard song"?
Author's Response: If I'm remembering correctly, it's Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out which I can't say for sure is Muggle because his music is wizard. :D
I'm not sure if I will get used to blaise being a femail but I like the story thus far...also if I am understanding correctly ginny and luna are not friends another small thing I will get used to unless this is how you are leading into their friendship but as I said very good so far :)
Author's Response: Hello! I wish I'd seen your review back when you first posted it. I would've told you that I was the opposite. I'd imagined Blaise female so long that it was a shock when JKR finally announced that "she" was a "he." This story was written when OotP came out. Ginny and Luna become friends. They weren't in the same House, so I thought it would take mutual interests to bring them together. :)
Omg!!!! I loved this entire story! It took me a while to finish, but I can see why it kept winning all those years! :) I love the Princess Bride and I also love the Enchanted Forest Chronicles (Dealing with Dragons is the first book). I laughed so many times! What a beautiful style! I'm curious though: what happened to Snape and Lorelei? Did they all live happily ever after?
Good- no, magnificent job! What an inspirational story. :D
Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much for this amazing review! I'm sorry I'm so late in replying. Snape and Lorelei's story is Simply Irresistible over on another site that starts with fanfiction and ends with .net. It was one of my first stories and I polish a few chapters now and then, but never got around to posting it on MNFF.
Mayhaps it's pathetic that I've just read this a second time through, but it really is my favorite fanfiction of all time. Everything is so beautifully put together, and so well thought out--the history, my gods! And all of the research involved, I love all the different languages cleverly sprinkled in, along with Celtic mythology and such. Everyone fell in love kind of fast (minus Draco and Ginny), but I like that Luna had affections for more than just one guy; more believable that way. I also liked the time it took for Ginny and Draco to get together in the beginning--it was more believable and sweet than if--poof!--they were secretly attracted to each other in a heartbeat. I also enjoyed the canon mixed in, mentioning how Ginny's experience with Riddle changed her and also giving everyone backstory, like the first-year encounter in the trophy room.
It's a bit long, but it's a masterpiece.
Author's Response: Yeah, Matchmakers is my one and only epic length fan fiction. They could have gone to Mordor and back. :D Thank you so much for coming back to read again. I'll always have a soft spot for Draco and Ginny, even though they only had a chance together in alternate dimensions of the Potterverse.
Only in this story would Hugh Laurie and Hyacinth Bucket be in the same year. Even the smallest bits of the story are funny when they're not deep or romantic. That's why it's one of my favorites.
Author's Response: Sorry it took me so long to reply. I think there's a site glitch. I had to check my account to see I had reviews. I'm glad I did, and doubly glad to have a reader who likes humor as well as romance. ^_^.
I love this! It is such a beautiful story!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! It isn't a quick read, :D, so I appreciate the time you gave to read it.
Magical love. Such a clever idea, the fairies!
Author's Response: Thank you! Fairies deserve to be used for more than lights in a jar. :D
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. :)
Author's Response: Thank you for making my day by reading it! =)
i cracked up when malfoy said that pansy was too stupid lo live! hi.lar.i.ous. the dancing was fun too! good chapter.
Author's Response: I'm glad that made you laugh. :)
oooooh, nice chapter! loving it so far, draco and ginny are very well written!
Author's Response: You made my day by finding this story! It was written in the days when Blaise Zabini was just a name without a gender, so I hope you can view this one as the AU BZ and enjoy the romance. :)
fabulous story! i absolutely loved it. t
Thank you so much!
You'll have me singing "your" theme song all day. :)
ANGEL AND BUFFY OMFG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW. IT HONESTLY MADE MY NIGHT WHEN THEY TRANSFORMED INTO THE DUO !!!! :)
Author's Response: Thank you for saying that! I've had a few reviewers not care for the pop culture references, so I appreciate that you loved it. :)
Was the part "Hello. My name is Wesley Roberts. You're beautiful, and its New Year's. Prepare to be kissed.". Adapted from the line in the princess bride of " hello my name is (??) you killed my father prepare to die!"???
Author's Response: How did I miss your review? Yes, it is. The giveaway (besides the similarity) was Luna saying, "Stop saying that!" :D
Lol for chapter 5 with all of the uses of British actors especially funny was Tom Felton but I didn't expect to see Hyacinth from Keeping Up Appearances. Very funny, just finished chapter 5, and thoroughly enjoying it so far, well done.
Author's Response: Hi! I could've sworn I replied to this--I blame pixies. :D Thanks for liking the names. I wonder if Hyacinth suggests her house hold outdoors indoors luxury barbeques and finger buffets, hehheh.
i just wanted you to know i loved the names you used in this chapter. i honestly lol-ed when i saw felton, tom :) hahaha that was great.

Thank you for laughing! I'm not using the real people, but I do grin madly using their names, so I appreciate that you share my sense of humor! :D
You made my day twice by saying that about my writing. The first time was when I got the review, and the second is today, when I realized I hadn't replied and got to read it again!
Thank you very, very much!
oh my goodness. i love the princess bride quotes. they made me giggle because they were so funny! perfectly placed. anyway i read this story a long time ago and am reading it again because i loved it so much the first time. :)
Thank you so much for rereading the story! Whenever I come across someone who hasn't seen the Princess Bride I wish I could give them a DVD right then and say, "Watch this so you can see what you've been missing!" :D
Just finished re-reading this story and I still love it! Only difference is I actually understand the Princess Bride references this time. Anyhoozle, just wanted to remind you what an amazing job you do!
Author's Response: I heart you, Aalaa. Thank you so much for telling me that! I may write Scorpius now, but I couldn't love him like I do if I didn't love Draco first. :)
That cahpter was magical. I believe in fairies too. It was perfect in every way and no one could have done it better.
Author's Response: Thank you for saying that, you've definitely given me a happy thought to lift my spirits like pixie dust! :)
