Very well written, I love it. Write more, you've got lot's of talent. Oh, by the way, I drew the dress, and I think it's gorgeous!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'd love to see the drawing. I have a vision of what the dress looks like, but I can't draw to save my life.
Wicked!! tho i still don't unrstand how Ginny turned into Erin. Apat from that it was wonderful.
Author's Response: It will come out eventually. All good things come to those who wait! Thanks for reviewing.
Very good! I really like the thought of a Draco/Ginny realtionship. In this you really show how well they could come together. But, in the author's notes, you need to put something there to seperate the notes from the story. Really good. Update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I'll try to remember to put in a divider of some sort. Thanks for the suggestion and for reviewing!
Did I just catch this as it was approved, or have you gotten no reviews? I should hope it was the former, not the latter, due to the fact that this was brilliantly written, and a very original plot.
I was shocked as I read in the first chapter that Ginny was dead, and even more shocked to learn that she wasn't. I can see a story developing here that is sure to be full of drama and keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat plot twists.
The way you add in the flashbacks is very appropriate and enjoyable - it's nice to see what happened in the past and not just get dropped into the middle of a story. And the way you incorporated the past conversations with the present ones was very fresh and ironic.
Brilliant job, I'll be adding this one onto my favorites. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: What a lovely review! Thank you so much. I've tried to blend in a little of the background where it is necessary for the reader to understand the relevance of current situations. I hope you continue to enjoy the story. Chapter 4 is in queue now, and more chapters are ready for my beta to look over. Thank you again for the very nice review!
I should have seen that coming, this being a Ginny/Draco story. Ah well. I really like what you're doing with this. Her being in America is convincing, and her attitude about the whole thing is perfect. I liked how in Ch. 1, Draco got out of killing her -- it was a great excuse. Snape is very well done; he's a lot smarter than we give him credit for! I will be coming back to read the rest of this!
Author's Response: Thank you! I've tried to make it believable, I'm glad you think I am succeeding. I just couldn't make poor Draco believe he had actually killed his true love; it would have been too cruel. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story!
Amazing how it just grabbed my attention. This sounds really good so far. Do update soon :D
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad it's pulled you in!
as stupid as I feel for having to review twice in a row, I made a horrible typo and I meant to say "interesting." Also, a few other things that I liked in particular were her "mission" and the way Draco had lost weight over Ginny's "death"..... I feel so bad for him but I'm glad Snape comes to visit Ginny....
Author's Response: Hey, review as many times as you like. I'm happy to receive them! Thank you!
very interseting.... Poor Ginny; having to be "dead" and then meeting Draco.... God, if he falls in love with "Erin" and then she's able to become Ginny again.....! Wow.... This was extremely well written, and I especially loved Draco's bit of chivalry and the motto...
Author's Response: Thank you! I've always imagined that, once Draco matured a bit, he would have very courtly manners. I hope you like the rest of the story.
A very different spin on the usual Draco/Ginny stuff! I like it! Keep updating!!
Author's Response: Thanks! More is coming!
Oh.my.goodness. I completely hoped this would happen, I must say. And I'm not supposed to be here, but I saw your new banner, and wondered if there was to be a chapter two.. so here I am, completely excited! I loved how you used the repeated phrases, like the descriptive words separated by dots or repeated, like "stayed in"... Oh, and I forgot about Draco not recognizing her, but his honorable saving of her was just brilliant. I'm quite excited to see how their story progresses. And what Draco's doing away from Voldemort...
Author's Response: I'm very late in responding to my reviews. I always love reading yours. Thank you, Delaney! I <3 you!
Yes, I know its the second review in a row. But I couldn't resist, it's for the MNFF scavenger hunt.=) Still, I really are intrigued by the fact that Ginny is "dead" and Draco can't recognize her. The poor girl. A bit of advice is that the chapter flows a little too fast, maybe you should stop and give more detail - but thats just me. I also think Ginny is wonderfully in character and not going all lovesick and attacking Draco... yet. Great work!
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing! I'm working on expanding my descriptions. I tend to write very matter-of-factly. I'm glad you think Ginny is in character, I've tried very hard to keep her that way!
O0oo0oh. Great Job! I really enjoyed this concept, and Draco & Ginny's seperate reactions. To be constructive perhaps you should include more discription, thats the only problem I found with it. Perhaps, something about Ginny seeing the world with"new eyes" persay. All in all, I really liked it. Can't wait for more!
Wow, what an interesting concept! Snaps to you for originality! I can't wait to get more into their past relationship and I really can't wait to see what happens! Make sure you let us know when the next chapter is up!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm really late responding to reviews, so you already know what's been happening, but I really appreciate your kind words!
I love how this story is starting. It's curious that Ginny is alive, but she's not. I know it's probably too soon and very cliche to say so, but I hope she runs into Draco, and they discuss her deathday a bit more. It was the perfect addition that he couldn't do it himself! I love him. I can't wait to read more! Tell me when you have the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you!
