Wow. This is really nice, and sad at the same time. I loved the little kid Gidgeon...poor thing, and killed by a werewolf no less...*shudders*...*shudders more at the thought that it could have been Remus*...I've only just found this now, so I suppose it's too late to say good luck with the challenge, so I'll just say that to me it really was a finalist...*goes to check the finalist list*...it really should be a finalist if not a winner, I loved it! And for a first fanfic let's just say it's amazing...=)...gazillion out of ten...

Wow! That's all I can say . . . Wow. That was beautiful, just extremely beautiful and heart-wrenching. (It almost reminds me of the song "Angels among us" or something like that. :) The ending was wonderful --- I absolutely loved it! When Remus finally yells out that he forgives Sirius, clutching the picture in his hand, I actually had tears in my eyes (which is not a very easy thing for a story to make me do). That's probably the biggest compliment that I can give to you on this beautiful and lovely piece. :) As soon as I finished it, the story went right into my "Favorites." Other than a few typos and formatting errors on the paragraphs (which didn't really take away from the story too much), the piece was fantastic. I definitely give it a 10, and best of luck in the challenge.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you recognized the song lyric! Originally, the fic had that song in it, but They (the Powers that Mod) had me take it out, for whatever reason.
Author's Response: Um, sorry, I was a little confused in that last response. What I meant was: That lyric is from, as you most likely know, the song "Better Days" by Goo-Goo Dolls, and my story originally had the song in it, but the Powers that Mod took it out.
