This is one of those stories that get better the second time you read it. I loved that 'the voice of reason was ignored while other needs took over'.
Author's Response: Thank you! I will treasure the compliment. ^_^
I think that this story absolutly FAB
Just like to point out that Mr.Tonks is Muggle, and the family disowned Andromida after her mariage
Author's Response: Thank you! I make references to the family tapestry in a later story- that Tonks is envious she hasn't been blasted off it, heh, but the HP Lexicon states "Tonks' is considered a "half-blood" because her father was a muggle-born wizard" which is why I wrote him that way. Has Jo said otherwise? It wouldn't be the first time, lol.
I just couldn't resist reading this again, smirk. It's such a sweet snogging story. And with that, this is my favourite chapter ánd the love bite part majorly inspired me last night for the story I'm working on - I love what came out of it. My female wears a turtle neck jumper to hide the love bite my male (or is it her male? ^..^) gave her. A very amusing scene, even as I say it myself. Anyways, it's still a great story. And now I've browsed through the description of all the stories of the Lovers' Moon series, I must correct myself. I did NOT get to know you through Once In A Blue Moon. I got to know you through Everything And The Moon. Yes, I know, I didn't quite follow before I had read OiaBM (pardon abbreviation), but nevertheless, that was the first thing I ever read. So it must've been good enough to keep me hanging onto you ^_^
Author's Response: Shouldn't all meet-and-fall-in-love stories be "sweet snogging" ones? ^_~ I call it Blue Moon, myself, lol, so I don't mind what anyone calls it, as long as they read it! :D Thank you so much for re-reading. *hugs* I like the sound of your scene, but I have to warn you that on a different site, someone told me turtleneck is a Yank, not British term, so you might want to call it a roll neck jumper, :D.
HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! That Peter pan quote was wondrous! I actually had a mental image of Remus in Wendy's place and Tonks in Pan's. It just made it all the more hilarious. Au revoir!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm so glad you liked the quote. Beats 'old, alone, done for' any day! :D
I must tell you that I snuck downstairs at 1:25 in the morning to read this last chapter, I couldn't stand waiting until later. Hats off to your wonderfull story! Now I'm off to read the next one...
Author's Response: Three cheers for you sneaking downstairs in the middle of the night to read! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Thank you! ^_^
Awwwwww!!! That was so sweet! I absolutely LOVED this story. I started it thinking I would read it slowly, because it was so long, but by the time I got to the 5th chap I was hooked and finished it the same day.
Author's Response: Yay for being hooked and finishing in one day! I don't expect that with the sequels, but if you get around to reading them, I'll be a happy writer. Thanks for taking the time to R&R this story! ^_^
Tonks reacted pretty much like I thought she would.
Author's Response: Good! Thanks for the review, and for letting me know!
you mentioned xanth!!!
i love that series!
its (almost) as good as harry potter!
Author's Response: Ogre Ogre is my all time favourite book in the series, but they're all punny good stories, lol, and I'm so glad you like them too! If you like mine a tenth as much, I'll be over the moon. :D
Oh my, such a tasty little fic! I haven't finished it yet, but I couldn't wait. Your style reminds me a lot of Katherine Kijewski. I'm a sucker for a good romantic plotline, and you've done very well with that. The characterizations are brilliant, the in-jokes are excellent, all in all I'm jealous! Can't wait to read the rst of them!
Author's Response: Yay for you not waiting! :D Thanks for the compliments, and for wanting to read more. My day has been rainy, but you've made it sunny. I'll have to look up that writer. Thanks again! ^_^
that was fantastic full of love (no pun intended)
great chapter and great and beautiful ending amazing writing
Author's Response: Aw, thank you. I hope you like the stories that follow just as much, hint, hint. :D
woohoo sirius is here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im cracking up from laughter lmao
but tonks is one a kind she truly is and has a beautiful heart the way you described her here !!
Author's Response: Thank you! I love Sirius, he's so much fun to write, and I wanted Tonks to be able to be complex and 'real', so you made me a happy writer. ^_^
she asked that is a very big sign for him to totally know who she is lol
Author's Response: Makes things interesting, though, heehee.
she was about to kiss him
so close so close and then he had to ruin it
arggh
beautiful chapter
Author's Response: Suffering builds character, :D. I hope you find the real kiss worth the wait!
wow taht was wow
its gonna be intresting when she meets him again amazing chapter
Author's Response: Thank you! "Interesting" is an understatement, LOL
Oh lovely. Really, just lovely.
Author's Response: *claps hands* Thank you so much for reading and commenting and enjoying the story! ^_^
I happened to appreciate the neutering comment.
Author's Response: Appreciate the comment in a responsible-dog-owner way, or Sirius-in-particular way? :P
As another dog-person, I especially enjoyed the doggy-bits. Even more than I enjoyed all the rest, which is saying alot.
Author's Response: Woof! (That was my inner Snuffles saying Thank you! ) :D
It's a good sign that I'm too wrapped up in the story to comment proper;y. Note a couple of minor editing errors (it should be "big strong Wizard TAKE charge", not "TAKES charge"), but nothing to seriously impede the story (and likely won't be noticed by any but the more militant sticklers). Again, excellent writing.
Author's Response: I think a "militant stickler" would put that in all caps, LOL, but I appreciate the feedback. Ta, Thanks!
You have a wicked sense of humour.
Author's Response: I live in New England right now, so I'm wicked thrilled you like it! ^_~
Except for a few editing blips in the first couple of paragraphs (watch verb aggreement), very well written, with just the right combination of closure and suspense to keep us readers satisfied and excited for the next installment.
Author's Response: I'll definitely check that out, and make yet another promise to myself to send any original fiction to a proofreader long before a publisher. Thanks!
