Cute, I really liked this!
Author's Response: Hello again! Thank you, I'm happy you're reading my stories. :)
=D That is sooooo cute! Lucky Lily!
Author's Response: She is lucky, isn't she? A lot of guys would have moved on to another girl, but James just waited for her to come around. :)
Aw, this is cute. It looks like James finally figured out that sometimes it's better to not persevere. Most of the time though, I believe in perseverance. I think JKR left a lot of room for imagination in this area--how James and Lily started dating and got married. I read your last response. Fynnegan Lukas-Morrison is a toy poodle. He's a phantom poodle--supposedly his color is apricot (but he doesn't really look orange to me) with black markings on his face, ears, and a spot on his back. These markings only show up when his fur gets longer. He kind of looks like a lamb. Fynn is almost like a little person for some reason with the sounds he makes and the things he does. Reminds me of Sampson the Newfie--he was kind of like a person too. My name is Liana Champagne. I tried to use my real name when I joined this site but they wouldn't let me--apparently there's someone else with my first name. On HPFF I use my real name but on the Twilight website I'm Esmerelda. Most students around her know my "vampire" name is Esmerelda the Vamp Queen:D But enough about me:) I'm planning to read the Snarky Severus story real soon. I'm not sure how much more I'll read today though--my eyes are really bothering me. Hopefully I can get that sorted out later today. My vision is blurred and they feel tired which leaves me not wanting to concentrate.
With so many characters, to give the background on all of them would have killed the momentum of the books. Boys just don't care about the romantic details, lol. I'm glad the sketchy backstories give writers loads of artistic freedom. ;)
Don't try to read until your eyes are better. If you've got allergies, this time of year can be a pain...or a dry, itchy blur! Whatever the reason, don't strain them. You need them to read another day. :D
Here's the edited quote from the yet to be posted chapter.
He turned toward the sound and saw a woman in jeans with long, black hair kneeling on a blanket, ruffling the fur of a diminutive poodle. A shouted, “Fynnegan Lukas Morrison!” sent the animal scurrying off like an errant child.
The owner waves her apologies...close as you get to a special mention, heh, but isn't there a saying, love me, love my dog...or at least immortalize him in fiction? LOL
the teen did what came naturally. He chased. The corners of his mouth curled up at the parallel between a redhead and a red Quaffle.
Perfect!!! Just abs perfect!!!
I was never a fan of James/Lily fics... But this one shot was ubber awesome!!!
Obviously, I loved all the Quidditch-ish remarks. And their addorable flirting with Chasing techniques!!! Hehehehe!!!!
Great story!!! :)
I was never a huge James/Lily fan because I thought it was so sad how they died...and then Jo kills off my one true pairing. Oh, the irony!
Thank you so much for reading the story! You made my night sparkly. :)
AW! I love every possibility that James and Lily might have had getting together. This was one of the sweetest
Author's Response: That's one of the nice things about writing James/Lily. How they got together is left up to the writer's imagination. Thank you for loving my version!
i love this one:D....i hope u dun mind me reading most of ur fanfiction :P... i love james/lily pairing .... this is chapter is well written...my fav part would be :
He leaned back against the door and remarked, "I've never had a chat in a linen cupboard before. Come here often?" She shook her head,
"No. This is a first."
I love it!!!!
Are you kidding? I love that you're reading my stories! You make my day, especially when you tell me the part that made you smile. *hugs*
i love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Merci beaucoup! :)
Fall out boy can be pervs...but I luv 'em! Listen to them everyday...
Author's Response: They'd be good to do cardio to! :D
This reminds me so much of the Fall Out Boy song "A Little less Sixteen Candles A little More "Touch Me" " The lyrics just remind me so much of them. Siriusly. Look up the lyrics, you don't have to but it would make me happy.
Author's Response: They're such pervs, lol, but I will definitely look up the lyrics. I've heard the song, I know, but sometimes the lyrics slide right by. :D
Your fics are like drugs. Except, they don't destroy brain cells and make you all crazy. (They don't...do they?) I like this one, because you KNOW they kiss, but for all you know James blows up or something.
I hope they're like drugs in that if you stop reading, you go through withdrawl, start thinking 'what can I read next?' and rush back to your dealer for a fix, LOL.
What happens next is up to the reader, but I like to think this was the start of an amazing romance!
Ahhh so unbelieveably sweet and just so lily jamesyness!!
Author's Response: Thank you for reading. You're awesome! :)
P.S. I love the way you do fluffy romance stories. They're like-hmmmm.... I can't actually think of a candy they're like, but they are so way better than cotton candy. I especially like For Bitter or For Worse, so keep updating this one. Love forever, ~Karen
Author's Response: Romance isn't all fluffy, but the parts that make you smile or sigh help couples stick together through the less dreamy parts of life! :) This was a one shot, but I'll definitely continue updating the other ones. Thank you for wanting to read more!
I love you!!!!! You are the best author ever! Woo hoo! (Yeah, I know I say that a bit too much.) Just a suggestion, Lily called James and "arrogant toerag" while Harry was watching Snape and Lily in the Pensieve. Keep writing! ~Karen
Author's Response: I love you for thinking so! *hugs* I think Lily had a wide repetoire of derogatory names, and later had a wider repetoire of affectionate ones. :D
Looooooved it. :)
"Evans may wish you were dead, mate, but at least she knows you're alive."
That was a good line. And congrats on the award! I was totally all , "OMG. Kerichi should win an award" when they announced it. I totally cheered you on when you did because you're my favorite author on this site.
And I can't think of how many times I've wanted your Remus/Tonks stories published so I can read them over and over.
Keep writing, I never get tired of it!
Author's Response: You had me at OMG. :D Thank you so much for being a fantastic, encouraging, reader! I'll keep writing, and when I get something published, I'll look you up to go buy it! ^_~
awesome! you write so well, it's great that you can cram so much into such a short space although I'd love to see a longer L/J fic i'll just have to go read your other fics right?
Good work - and congrats, I saw on the front page one of your stories just won an award!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! There's L/J in the Snape Marauder Era story that won the Quicksilver Quill award, and no gods-awful triangles in it. James wants Lily and no one else, and while Lily takes awhile to return the sentiment, she never makes eyes at Snape! :D
Awesome. Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! ^_^
so cute! I love your writing style!
Author's Response: I love you for saying that! Thank you!
Im confused. Is James a Chaser in this story? Because he plays Seeker...
Other than that I liked it. :D
Author's Response: Those films are to blame, saying he played Seeker! On Jo's site, she says he was a Chaser. :)
Author's Response: When I double-checked the HP-Lexicon, they quoted a 2000 Scolastic.com interview in which she said he was Chaser, so I added an Author's Note. I should have done it sooner, so thank you for bringing that up! (A Quaffle wouldn't have looked half as cool as a Snitch, would it? LOL)
This was quite fluffy, but it was lovely, enjoyble, sweet fluff. Awesome piece.
Author's Response: Thank you for qualifying that! :D I never want to write the kind of fluff that makes people gag over the icky, undiluted sugary sweetness, LOL
Author's Response: Thank you again! ^_~
