This was extremely, extremely good. I just wish it had been longer. It kept me on edge the whole time and I wanted to keep reading it forever! You are a very very good writer!

Chapter: No More

It was so great to finally see this story updated. It is always a nice surprise when a story gets finished or updated after so long. Thank you for finishing it!

I really like the way you have characterized Hermione in your story. She always was the one to show compassion and try to keep the peace within the trio, unless Ron was fawning over another girl. Her concern for Draco is believable and she would have never allowed harm come to someone she was trying to help if it were within her power to stop it. That she had researched astral projection when she realized what was happening with Draco is very like her and it is always fun to see how she will word things so both Harry and Ron will keep from exploding in anger or do something rash.

We found out in DH just how far the Malfoys would go to stay together as a family. It is very cool that you had already incorporated that into your story and were working towards a similar end for them. Narcissa’s concern for Draco was written very well and the flash backs to the Astronomy tower in Draco’s head were perfect. I really can see those moments coming back to him if he were forced to kill someone again, as he was in this story.

I did feel that the end of this chapter was very rushed. It would have been nice to see Draco reunited with is mother or to know if he were really paralyzed. I really couldn’t get a feel for what was happening when Kingsley rescued him. Maybe you could add more to it to make it more complete. It doesn’t have to be longer, per se, but more description to let the reader really know what was happening. I am kind of confused as to what really happened, other then Kingsley somehow got to Draco who ended up with some sort of injury and Narcissa was there. Why was Draco injured? How was Narcissa overlooked, or was she? Why did the Order seem to get to them without any fight? I just don’t understand. . . especially if Voldemort still had some sort of plan to use Draco.

Over all, it was great to see this story finished, but I just don’t feel it was truly finished. I don’t feel it was complete. I have too many questions for that. Your characterization was great and I like the concept of Draco having special abilities that Voldemort would want to take advantage of.  Cyns

Author's Response: Thanks for your review. Hmm... I think you have quite fairly reviewed the end of this chapter, and rereading it I do notice that it may seem unclear to everyone but me. Rather than disclose all the details in this review, I will endeavour to revisit it and add some extra description. In my defense, I suppose I was trying to convey how rushed and confusing the actual events were, but I didn't intend to completely befuddle my audience! Unfortunately, I'm not sure that I *will* let you know whether or not Draco actually is paralysed... I think I'll leave that to the reader's discretion. Thanks very much for your help, I'll let you know when I add more to this ;o)

Chapter: The Task

Very good! I found Hermione's use of old magic to be very interesting! I can't wait for the next chapter, but I'm kinda sad that its ending! Happy's always good, but you don't often see a sad ending, so I might be a change.

So, just out of curiosity, have you read Eragon and the Lemony Snicket series?

Author's Response: I have not, although people keep telling me to... Glad you liked the chapter, mmhhh - now I'm really unsure of which ending to give the story! Do I make people happy or be original..? Thanks ;o)

Chapter: The Task

Thank you so much for updating! I have been waiting for this. I still feel really bad for Draco. I for one like happy endings. I know life often isn't like that, but I'm an optimistic person, so I always see the good. It was very cool that Hermione seems to have enough connection to Draco to find him. It was really neat when she felt what he was feeling. I look forward to the next chapter! Cyns

Author's Response: Thanks very much for the review, and I'm glad you liked the connection between Draco and Hermione. Congrats also on managing to read it with the crazy formatting (which has now, thankfully, been fixed) ;o)

I'm so glad you updated!!! It was an excellent chapter!! The formatting of the actual paragrpahs was difficult to read since there were only three large paragraphs, but nonetheless it was well-written. You described Draco and his situation very well! I can't wait to see what happens, and whatever ending you choose, I'm sure will be the best. ~Sara

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I don't know what was wrong with the formatting, but I think I've fixed it now, that seems to happen all the time when I submit stories for some reason. Thanks again.

Chapter: A Turning Point

Poor Draco. I'm glad that Alice helped Harry and Lupin. I'm afraid that only Hermione will be any help now though. Draco reached out and told her where to find him. That is much easier said then done. I wait anxiously for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you very much ;o)

Chapter: A Turning Point

I was beginning to wonder if you'd quit! ;D Glad you didn't! I'm really curious to see where this story is going! So please, please update ASAP! I also don't know if this is just the ditzy part of me, but I don't know what the heck Draco is doing! Are we supposed to yet?

Author's Response: Yes, sorry about the delay, it shouldn't happen again. Draco is trying to astral project by his own will, rather than by accident. Sorry if that wasn't clear, and thanks for the review ;o)

NO!!!!!!! DON'T HURT HIM!!!!!!!! I'LL SAVE YOU DRACO!!!!!!! *Jumps in to protect him*
Uberfabulous. *Is speechless.*
Two words: 14. NOW.

Author's Response: Thank you so much ;o) I'd just like to say to everyone that I'M REALLY SORRY ABOUT THE DELAY. My life has been a bit topsy-turvy for the last couple of months and I haven't had time to write the next chapter. I wrote one and it was rejected twice, which reflects the quality of my writing at the moment! I'm so sorry, and I will get writing now and hopefully get a new chapter up by the end of this week.

Chapter: Hell to Pay

Not meaning to sound like Dudley or anything but my patience is waning.....please post soon before I thow a tantrum.

Author's Response: I've kind of been stuck at Latin camp for the past two weeks, so haven't had much time to write.

On my favorites list devised in my head your story would probably rank...number one shall we say? I loved your imagry, characterisation (the trio was really acurately depicted), plot, and how you would delve deep into the chasms of Draco's emotions, along with how you maintained a sort of dread throughout the story. Plus I thought Alice was a rather plucky character. I'm really antisipating the next chapter and Draco's ultimate fate.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review! I'm so thrilled with your compliments, and with the fact that you liked Alice as an OC. Thanks again ;o)

Poor Draco!

I was so happy to read that Alice is alright! You had me scared for a moment!

Can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you so much - it was because of your outrage at the previous chapter that I leant towards keeping Alice alive ;o)

Chapter: Mother

Hey my computer wont let me read your 5th chapter can you tell me what happens.

Author's Response: How bizarre... ok, well, Draco goes kind of crazy and runs for the door, but before he can reach it he passes out. Frank, Alice and Craig have no idea what to do - they originally think he's dead - but eventually Alice takes him to hospital. Hope that bridges the gap!

Draco showed some bravery in saving Alice! Now I'll hope he can manage to escape Voldemort. I like how you portrayed his fear. It was easy to identify with & more real because of it.

Author's Response: Thank you very much, I'm so glad my writing seems realistic to you ;o)
