Ooh...I'm happy that you were able to incorporate Malfoy and his lot into the story...I also loved the way the emotional conflict within Peter was staged! You seem to see in many stories that he was a good person when he was a student at Hogwarts, but then he randomly chose to be a Death Eater post-Hogwarts...you, on the other hand, presented him with the offer of having the "Slytherin" kind of power early on...thank you!
Also, for future reference, Sirius's eye color is grey...that's usually a Black family trait to have dark hair and light eyes, so I think Bellatrix shares the same quality...(just saying, though) ^^
Author's Response: I don't focus on Peter in this story, but I think it's really important in J/L fics to show how he was insecure and how it might have been possible for him later on to cross over to the wrong side. Thank you for noticing!! As for the eyes.. I think I remember reading Bellatrix's eyes were dark, but I can check...
can ijust say that i absolutely love this story!? i think that your version or idea of james and lily is almost perfect! of course no one could get it quite perfect except for jkr but i think you come extremely close! i really liked the chapter. especially lily's question. i liked james' answer even more it was adorable. i wish i knew a james potter! keep going b/c its really great
