Aw.... That was sad! But quite good. I'm horrible at reviewing... Poor Remus. I think you characterized him perfectly. I was also happy that it had Remus/Tonks-ish-ness in it! Um... lets see. i liked all of Remus's memories Remus's doubt about being good enough for Tonks made me go 'aw'. This was really good! Very well written. You got Remus's sadness, but didn't make it all drippy and make me want to throw up. It was great! You're a great writer!

Author's Response: Hehe! Thanks Emma! I had never actually written Remus before, but I imagined him being the last decent Marauder couldn't have been easy. *sigh* He can finally be at peace now. that was amazing...and so sad. i feel so bad for remus...its like he has been abandoned by all of his loved ones (the marauders). keep writing. i loved it.

Remus is just one of those guys that when you write him, the angst just creeps in naturally. This was brilliant--so heart-wrenching and lovely! Remus has such insight, doesn't he? He was there when all the bad stuff happened and he is the bridge between the painful past and hopefully a happier future for Harry. You've captured that so well in this piece. I think so often about Oct. 31, 1981, and I must say, I adore how you've written it. They seem like they are waiting, that things have been foretold. If only they had know where Wormtail was, and what he was doing! Finally, I like that Remus hasn't given up hope on Peter. I often wonder if Harry saving Peter's life the night that Sirius was going to kill him will come back and be of some benefit to Harry. I suppose we'll see. Lovely story! I want to read more of your work.

I love the part at Lily and James's house; and the part in his fith year. and the ending from Tonks to the end.

That was really, really well written, and we all know that Lady Wolfine is a stickler for grammer and spelling. However, this story--and usually I don't show much emotion-- made me cry. Simply fabulous!!
