I loved ur stories. It's so romantic and so well written. i havent read such a good fanfic for a long time. i cant wait for the next chapters.

Author's Response: *blush*

Thank you. I'm so happy to hear that. Hopefully the next chapter won't be too long, and I have all the chapters done, so I'll be updating as fast as Mugglenet allows me to.

*tear* That was really lovely. I loved everything in it, from Blaise’s scepticism in love to Hermione’s belief in it. I loved what Blaise said about love not existing. It kind of made me think. Although I wouldn’t personally know anything about love, from what I’ve seen, Blasie is right about this one thing.

It was really well-written as usual—I could not find one grammatical mistake. You can also see the bond growing between Blaise and Hermione, from mutual interest to books to something else. The sentences were very powerful and emotional. This one sentence struck me though: “There is no such thing as forever!” So true. Nicely done—can’t wait for another update to see where the story is headed. Rating-10.

Author's Response: I'm sorry I forgotten to respond to this one, I read it ages ago, and it made me really happy when I did. I'm glad you like the story so much, and thrilled that you think it's well-written. I hope you'll like the rest as well.

Aaargh... This is a very, very good story! You should feel proud of yourself for being able to write like that. But it's sooo sad... I don't know if I can take it! I think I'm going to go back to the humor section. That way I won't feel so depressed. Uugh, poor Hermione!

Author's Response: I'm glad you like the story and I hope you'll read the rest of it as well, in spite of it being sad.

Gorgeous.. I was shocked, I just finished reading 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' for the first time just two days ago..and I never would have made the connection with Horcruxes but when I read it..I had to think wow.. very similar. Blaise giving her a new book was wonderful and then him suddenly choosing to ask for her opinion and involving books once more in her life .. I was almost crying...The window.. all I can say is WOW I loved the whole idea of her having this random window ..you can see their relationship evolving slowly and it's just so beautiful the way you have written it. I cannot wait for future chapters. *10*

Author's Response: I'm so glad I managed to make an impact. It thrills me that you like the story so much.

Loved it again. Having Blaise and Hermione connect over something like books was simply brilliant. The plots where Hermione falls for a Slytherin because of their appearance with no other thought in her mind are getting clichéd and very annoying. Nicely done. The metaphor between the leaves and the “right” side was very powerful as well. Keep the chapters coming! Rating-10.

Author's Response: Thank you so much. I'm glad you like where the story is going. And I've too seen too many fics where Hermione suddenly cannot resist Draco's/Blaise's/Theodore's gorgeous looks and throws all personality to the wind. I wanted to make sure this was different.

This is fabulous. Lately i have been on the lookout for something 'different' and this is it! I love how well you can describe the scene and emotion behind Hermione's hardship. The fact that she remains so strong throughout such an awful time and despite any temptation is able to remain logical and refuse to 'give knowledge' to the enemy. Her sudden breakdown at the realisation of a wasted book was heart breaking and the scene we are left with, Hermione crying into Zabini's shoulder, is just as emotional. I also think that if we knew more about Zabini in canon we would see that you have described him very in character. His personality just sits well with the fiction. I have to say I'm excited about the upcoming chapter! *10*

Author's Response: I'm so glad to hear that. And I think I can promise that you will enjoy the next couple of chapters as well. Thank you.

I loved it. Oh my God, it was so touching! Hermione’s feelings just seemed so accurate, her not crying over Ron’s death, but just a book setting her off. It was perfect. The fact that she didn’t care about Zabini being Zabini, but just the fact that he was human. Zabini’s reactions were well thought out too. The little details about the stones and Minny gave so much to the story. I loved the whole thing! I really do hope you update soon. Rating-10.

Author's Response: I am so glad to hear that. I am very fond of this story myself, and it is always nice to hear that others share my opinion. Chapter four was actually finished just yesterday, and chapter three was added quite a while ago and is waiting for approval, so hopefully the update won't be long at all.

i've never read a fic like this. ever! blaise and hermione are very in character. you obviously had putten a lot of thought as to who is a traitor and who is dead. i like that. if i were hermione, i would have just died. but how is voldemort failing if he killed harry?

Author's Response: I'm sorry I'm not answering until now, but sincierly I thought I had. I'm very glad you liked the story, and I hope you'll read the rest of it as well. As for Voldemort he is failing because he doesn't realise that people will always fight opression. He is failing because he doesn't understand why people keep fighting. And since Harry destroyed all the horcruxes (which Voldemort doesn't know about), he is nowadays mortal. It's no longer impossible to kill him. So Harry has in a way put an end to him, making him mortal so someone else can kill him. I hope that makes sense somehow.

A very nice story you have here! I was lesft pleased from the very first sentence.

I like how you've set the mood from the very first paragraph. "A war has many casualties – among them trust, courage, love. Hermione had seen all of them die on the battlefield that took her friends. She had seen trust die when Seamus turned out to be a spy. She had seen courage die when their ranks fell and those she thought were loyal friends started to flee. She had seen love die in her arms as she cradled Ron’s lifeless body, before leaving it to the scavengers of the night. " You had me crying since the very beginning.

Both Hermione and Blaise (from what we know of him) are very in character. The whole thing is very well written, thorough, and done in very believable fashion. Nicely done.

Since it seems there are other chapters to come, I look forward to reading them!

Author's Response: Such a lovely review - thank you! I'm very glad you liked it, and yes of course there are more chapters. I'm about halfway through the second chapter and will hopefully finish it next week.

Once more thank you for a lovely review. I think I can promise you that you'll like the rest as well (at least I hope I can *grin*).

Very nice, JessicaH! The plot sounds promising, and Blaise is very in character, from what we've seen of him ... good job!

Author's Response: Thank you. I hope you'll like the remaining chapters as well.
