That was...beautiful. Yes, that's the word to describe it: beautiful. You should definitely consider writing as a future career because that was amazing. Pure genius. Everything was perfect.

Oooh spooky... I didn't know he was talking about the moon until the end... definitely good. I hope you got house points for that!

Author's Response: I don't know if I did or not. *shrug* Doesn't matter, really, I'm just glad you liked it! Thanks a lot!

This shows a side of your writing that I had yet to see. From what I've read, you can do romantic comedy quite well, and now I know that you can do angst with style also. With style, I mean that it wasn't just a bunch of crying slapped together. Your imagery was exceptionally vivid, as were the emotions that you protrayed. It seemed that you unflinchingly put to writing what the deepest and darkest thoughts of our favorite werewolf must be under all his composure. I especially liked the unique take you took on the challenge. Letters to "Heaven".....very clever. And the way he sent it was an ingenious idea. I've said it before and I'll say it again; I want your talent. Gimmegimme!

Author's Response: Thanks again, GreyLady. I wish I could think of something other to say than 'Thanks' to all your reviews, but words fail me when I blush a smile so much. I'm very glad you think so well of Remus' Letter!

If I could change the number rating below, I would. To a 20. This story was heart-wrenchingly true. I read this on one particularly dark day, and while I won't say it made me happy, exactly, it gave me some insight into the lives of others... and the Harry Potter books. I'm not quite sure if this was poetry, or a story... but whatever it was, it was beautiful. I admit, I am a bit biased to adore stories about Remus Lupin, but this one was one of the best I've ever read, maybe the best ever written. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you win the contest you submitted this in!

Author's Response: I'm glad my story affected you in such a way, and thanks for your vote of confidence. Unfortunately, this was just an extra credit assignment, but thanks very much any way...thought I doubt Remus' letter was the best ever written. ;-)

Oh wow. I have to say, this is a very well-written story. I love the imagery and the tone of it. Just the way you make Lupin sound is perfect. I can see him writing this. It's so in character!

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm always worried that my stories are in character, so knowing you think so is great!

You are more a poet than any author on this site, or that I have ever read online. Indeed, your imagery and unbridled emotions are more compelling and heart-wrenching than that of some of the most famous authors. Very few people can make me feel pain as acutely as you do, as easily as I feel the shiver from the wond or the caress of the willows. I eagerly await a new mastery from you and thank you for this. ...Remus is my favorite character now and you depicted him precisely as I would like- as I imagine. Again, I thank you immensely for the pleasure of your writing. It is wonderful. *10* ~Eleanor

Author's Response: Wow. Honestly, I don't know what to say except 'thank you'. I'm very glad that you enjoyed 'Cheers', and that it had such an effect on you.... I know it sounds dumb, but I really can't think of much else to say. I'm surprised, really. But in a very good way. Thank you very much for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed 'Cheers' ever so.
