I reviewed this a while ago, maybe when I first came on the site, and it was silly, pointless and so I deleted it, because you deserve a much better review than that one. *cracks knuckles* Here we go...
I love how you started this off with the song lyrics. The song ties in really nicely to the story, and it's perfect.
His arm ached and there was an odd pounding in his head. Harry slipped from consciousness and his head fell unceremoniously onto the Thestral’s neck.
That was a very powerful line. I could just see how Harry fainted.
The dialouge between Remus and Harry was very nice. Your characterization of Remus was spot-on, and very believable.
"One day you'll love me as I love you. One day you'll think of me as I think of you. One day you'll cry for me as I cry for you. One day you'll want me, but I won't want you." This was such a heartbreaking line, and it made me cry. After they kissed, I was so convinced that they were going to get back together, but the ending you had was so much more original.

That is really sad! I really like it, although it's really sad. I like how you described the bond between Hermione, Ron and Harry. I also extremely like tha last sentance: "Harry pulled himself up and walked away silently. There was no going back now, he couldn't change a thing. She was gone, lost for eternity. The only place in his life that Ginny existed now was his memory, and forever in his heart." That is really, really, good. I have wondered for a long time what would happen between Ginny and Harry, and I think that so far, this is my favorite sad one. (Of course, I would prefer a happy one, but well-written sad ones are way better than fluffy happy ones.) Thank you for a terrific story!

Nooo!! Quite vague, but in a good way. I really like his feelings after Ginny refuses him; very real, as well as the bond between him and Ron and Hermione. Poor Harry...

Aww, very sad! It's not as brilliant as the previous ones I've read - Emerald in the Fire is still my favourite - but this one was still well written too, with really good use of that song you love; can't wait for that 3rd chapter of the other one. Katie x.

That moment stabbed me too, just as it did Harry. Maybe, one day, Ginny will realize that she loves him, and come back. This is why I love one-shots, they are almost never final. The reader can choose to end it anyway.

Oh, NOOO! AHH, I'M DYING! DYING!! DYIIING!!!!? Infinity+/10, so sweet 'n' sad, a winner in my heart, love that line, the one day line. I wish you'd take it further to get Harry 'n' Ginny together, but I know it wouldn't happen that way. That line said it all. Awww....
