I LOVE this story! It is fantastic, am I correct in thinking that the grandfather is Neville? I am guessing that from the line " I was almost he." Maybe not... Either way, great story!

Author's Response: Ah yes, the double post.

That was a really lovely story.. i thought it was Ron! even the "i was almost he line" i thought that it was because of there deep friendship, that they were almost the same! woopsie! missed that one! really great! dark, but light too, that would be something that neville would say after he grew up a bit.. (i only know that its neville after reading the reviews, looks like people are a lot better at picking up on things then i am!)

Author's Response: No worries, I did my best to plant clues well! I'm so glad you enjoyed it though, it's one of my favourtie pieces that I've written.

That was beautiful! After reading the summary, I expected it to be Harry but then I realized it was Neville. Great job! You've got talent! And I wanted to compliment you on 'Tom Riddle and the Half-Blood Prince'. Man, that was like the funniest thing I've ever read in my life.

Author's Response: Haha, that's great to hear, thank you so much. I hope you enjoy the sequel to TR+HBP! Though I'm way to full of excitement about 'Deathly Hallows' to write any more chapters for a while.

emily Green once said that crazy things happen to crazy people i think you are crazy i DO NOT LIKE this story get better.

Author's Response: Well, seeing as you "probably haven't even read" the story, as you so wittingly stated in your bio, I am going to ingnore this supposed review. Especially as you "haven't even read any of the Harry Potter books." How could you possibly have hoped to understand this then, you silly, silly girl?

Beautifully written! It has a sort of darkness to it, though, as if it were a rose. pretty, but with hidden thorns. I liked it a lot, and the grandfather is no other than neville longbottom...am i correct?

Author's Response: Thank you, I'm really glad you enjoyed it so much and thank you for that beautiful description. Neville was correct of course, well done on spotting that!

Wow. This story, though short, was quite moving. I really like the message it sends, and also the way it is very to the point. Not much happens, of course, but that just makes what the old man (btw, is it Neville?) says all the more meaningful. The ending was really great, too!

Author's Response: Yep, it was Neville! I'm glad you caught that, and that you got the meaning of the piece. Thanks!

Wow. That's beautiful, really it is. (The granfather's Neville, right? You did a really good job of laying the clues, you know. . . .) Just . . . wow. I hate to repeat myself, but all I can think of to say is that it was awesomely, beautifully written. Thanks for sharing it with us! Cheers!

Author's Response: Hiya Loki, glad you found this little fic and that you enjoyed it! Thank God you figured it was Neville, I think I ended up confusing a lot of people!

I thought it was Harry, but it's definately Neville. Blood doesn't wash away the snow... beautiful imagery, as always and I'm very glad to see you back writing.

Author's Response: Writing furiously my friend; damn the college life consuming my time and energy! I'm so glad you liked it.

Ah, after the 'I was almost he' line, I knew that it must be Neville. That was beautiful ... but he died in the end, didn't he? If he did, I feel sorry for the little lad listening to him. Nice work.

Author's Response: He did die, indeed. I thought it would work, and I'm delighted that you enjoyed it. Yay!
