Mkay, I'll give you some suggestions- well, James seemed a bit too arrogant, Lily seemed too uptight, and she seemed not to like him much.

Although this may not sound like a good idea to you, I think It would be funny if you would make this a two-shot, and have the next part be about their memories about how they got together and how James proposed. I'd love to read that, especially in such an origional context. Even without that, though, 11/10!
