Chapter: On a night just like this

*gulps lump in throat* I read this story once and I am surprised I didn't review before. This is such good writing! I personally don't think this situation will really happen since they are both so young and the series has to end in the seventh book. But besides that I love this fic! You are so descriptive, especially the end where you said "It was all over." Twice! Oh jeez! I can imagine it too. Like he's numb..

Nice! I liked the idea of history repeating itself, but having a happy ending the second time around.

I had three suggestions, first, when you open the story you make it clear that day is dawning in Godric's Hollow. It seems a little odd that James and Lily are up at that hour 'putting the baby to sleep.' I've had experience with fractious one year-olds, and rarely do both parents get up at five thirty in the morning to cuddle by the fire while they get the baby back to sleep. (I guess what I'm saying is that I was a bit confused whether it was supposed to be morning or evening.)

Second, do you think Voldemort would give 'a soft knock' on their front door. I guess he might want to scare them, but it still seems out of character for him.

Third, when the story ended I was still wondering what had happened to Ginny and her baby girl. Are they ok? They fell down in the woods, and that is the last we heard about them.

I hope you like cc because it looks like I went a bit overboard in that department. Take care and keep writing.

Pax.

Wow!! That was really powerful! I love how you related the night of the Final Battle to the night Harry's parents were killed. But, what happens to Ginny? She's just running, how will she know he's dead?

Wow!!! This is such a good story. I do think that it should be longer though. But, it's still a fantastic story. Full of love and pain . . .

I just have to say, I heaved a very deep sigh after reading your short story. Well done! I especially love Harry's victory (especially since I'm a Harry/Ginny shipper!)

Author's Response: Wow, your name is Chloe?! I love that name, and I used it in my most recent story, Not Our War, under Historical fics!

That was good! I loved the part when it comes to Harry and Ginny's time. The story was a little wierd to me but it was still good.
