is that the end?
Author's Response: Nope, it's still not the end. :)
is that the end?
Author's Response: No, it's not the end. The next chapter is in the queue.
Wow - that chapter really had me hooked, the argument was so intense and emotive. Well done.
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I was very concerned about making sure the argument sounded real. *whew* I appreciate it!
This had better not be the last chapter, because I am dying to see these two get together. Wonderfully written, as usual. Hope to see another chapter soon.
Author's Response: Are you kidding? Do you think I'd leave you hanging like that?! I still have a few more chapters to go! I just received the final three chapters from my beta this morning. Hermione will definitely have a solid resolution to her situation. :)
oh my god!!! this is probably one of the best fics i have read!!! i put u in my favorites!!!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I really appreciate the compliment. I love being a favorite. *blushes*
Yay! I love this story, keep up with the good work and updating!!!
Author's Response: Thank you! Chapter 18 update is hopefully coming soon.
I love your stories!! I can't wait until Hermione gets together with Draco, if it ever happens. They're perfect for each other, no matter what they or Jo think.
Author's Response: Thanks! If you ask me Hermione and Draco are soooo close to being perfect for each other in a way that is completely different from Hermione and Ron. JKR makes the final decisions, though, and I'm a slave to her word. :)
Whoa! Excellent. I was sort f expecting another huge scene of teenage dramatics, with Hermione just sorry she had gone and there being no real point to it (As there is frequently no real point to what happens in life, actually...) but you delivered so much more. You establish so convincingly that there WAS a spell, yet that it did draw on something that was actually there in Draco when it mad him irresistable to Hermione. Normally I don't have much interest in Draco and anyone because I am pretty well convince that the damage had been done before he got to Hogwarts and that there will be no one I want to meet developing out othe Draco we all know in canon, but you have managed an exception here. I like the way you have them say goodbye with their proper names. It is the perfect ending touch
Author's Response: I don't think in canon that Draco is lost forever and the damage is done. I think there's a chance, just a small shot, that he can be saved. I'm glad you saw that here as well. Thank you!
I really liked this story :) It was emotional and the language you used was perfect. I used to hate Draco but you made him sound much better. Great story!
Author's Response: If I can turn anyone around to liking Draco, I'm happy. He is absolutely, hands down one of my favorites. Thanks so much!
Oh my, where do I begin? Bear with me 'cuz I think this is gonna be a long review. I don't know if u read my review on chap 13 but I said it there & I'll guess I'll say it again. Please don't let me regret getting into this story. Yes, I'm a Draco/Hermione supporter. Don't get me wrong, when it comes to JKR's story I'm all for Ron/Hermiome but I just love the fanfiction ships. Anyway, I just recently got into Dramione and I've read quite a lot of stories. I came upon your story by accident since it was under various pairings, but I must admit I'm glad I found it. (So far... ;) ) This story is so well written, I haven't seen any grammical errors (which is a pet peeve of mine) and it flows without any trouble with the transitions. Your scenes with the both of them together were great, it wasn't to the point where I wanted to hurl my guts out because of all the sugar & fluff. I actually felt for them at the closing of this chapter. Actually I felt a lot of things during the past chapters: Draco's lonelinss & desperation, Hermione's emptiness & confusion, both of their heartaches... *sigh* It's really difficult to bring those type of feelings across to the reader where we feel along with them, but you've done a superb job. The OCCness that u warned about wasn't really a problem since u explained there would be a reason for it. ( Dam spell >( ) Believe me, I dislike OCCness 'cuz it's so unbelievable and irratating. I tend to stop reading a story if there are any but this story really got me. You know, I think if u put this under Draco/Hermione it could eventually be nominated for one of those Dramione awards. I'm not pulling your leg, I think it's that good. IMO, I think it's more difficult to write a D/Hr ship then R/Hr because it's a harder job to make it believable. And again IMO, you're doing a helluva job. Keep up the good work & props to your Betas. I have now added this story to my fave list, which are all Dramione stories by the way, hint, hint. ;) Hee, hee it sounds like I'm trying to convince u to let them end up together yeah, but oh well, there it is. =) And just wondering, have you read The Unseemly Proposal by sparx? GREAT story...
Author's Response: I am really a bit speechless. Thank you so much for this great review. I am so happy that you've found it easy to feel for and understand the characters. Especially Draco and Hermione who are so easily dismissed as fanon fodder. I think they deserve more respect than that! As to the final outcome of the story, I will only say that it is the best for Hermione. The story really decided the end for me.
I love Dramione myself. If you've read other reviews, I've commented that they're my favorite fanon ship. As strange as it sounds, I've found them much easier to write than R/Hr because I think there are less expectations. Less expectations also means that you can have more fun!
"An Unseemly Proprosal" is one of those stories that I've been meaning to read forever and still have not gotten around to yet. It's on my list and I know it's one of the best, so I've sort of been saving it. :)
you can't leave us hanging too long! hurry and update!
Author's Response: The last few chapters are all in the works and I promise I will update as soon as I can. :)
you made me cry. I don't usually cry
when reading. what an accomplishment!!!
anyways update its great!!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: I always feel bad when people write that they've cried. *sobs* I'm glad it was good crying, though!
that was awesome and kinda sad but awesome
Author's Response: Aww, thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Good job -- keep it coming!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm working with my beta on the last few chapters now.
i'm not gonna cry. i'm not gonna cry. :,'( i haven't read a d/hr story (actually any story) this touching or this good sonce the Sweetest Sin, which I reccomend you read (it's in my favorites if u want a quick link). is this story really over? :',( this was an amazing story, which I'll really miss.
Author's Response: Oh, I love "The Sweetest Sin" and I think it's actually in my Favorites as well! That is a great compliment, so thank you very much.
This is not over yet! Walking away from Draco is not the end of Hermione's story. There are still three chapters left to go and a final resolution for her that I think really fits.
Wow! I'm a R/Hr fan but I couldn't stop reading it's so good! I love the detail in the story it is really fantastic I must keep reading!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I love seeing that R/Hr fans are still enjoying the beginning half of the story. It really means a lot!
Great part!! I felt really invovled reading this Chapther!!
Author's Response: Excellent, thanks so much! That means quite a lot.
AAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!! How could u do that? Not nice, not nice at all! Please dont let me regret getting into this story. I stayed up this long to read this great story & suddenly at the ending, I too, saw my bubble burst! Of course I'm a Draco/Hermione shipper. ;) Even though Draco was under the spell, he was so damn lovable! I know he's got it in him to be that way, even w/out the spell! And look @ Ron, I mean they're together and she doesn't feel half as much as she did for Draco, oooookay regardless of the fact the darn spell was there. Like I said earlier, she probably has it in her to feel that way. Sheesh, look what u made me do. I was gonna review when I read the whole story first. Could'nt help myself, u got me hook, line & sinker!! Excellent story by the way but I'll get into it when I'm done reading everything. Once again, PLEASE don't make me regret reading this... *off to pick up pink, twinkling crystal shards from the ground*
Author's Response: Awww! *pats* If you enjoy a story, then no matter what the outcome is you can't regret it.
Author's Response: Thank you.
Errr...i really really does not approve malfoy and hermione. please make ron a bit more romantic since i've his brothers very romantic kinda person. pleeeaseee
Author's Response: Ron has quite a bit more to do in this story. His role is certainly not over yet.
