The story is great. I cant wait for more! THe only thing that was hard to believe was that James would cheat on Lily. It seems very odd, since he tried so hard to win her, but hopefully you can make this story work.
So far i like it! it seems so exceptionally real! It's the kind of thing that you'd think would happen should James and Lily get married and if J.K. Rowling would write about their life after marriage.

I just had a thought, maybe it wasn't actually James, maybe he's an imposter. Or Janet is a Veela so he wasn't in control of his actions. I know it's wishful thinking but I just can't believe he'd do that. At the very least I've just given you one excuse he could use when trying to win Lily back.
Wow, talk about showing another side to a character. I'm sitting here in disbelief. And I'm also slightly disappointed, that James could do that to Lily, that she's pregnant with Harry (I think) and that she didn't hex him into oblivian or at least use a severing charm on his... . Hope to read more soon, if she does take him back, I hope she makes him suffer beforehnd.

You had a very difficult plot line to work with, and I was hoping you would make it reasonably realistic, but I hardly think thats the way it would turn out, I really think you should edit or re-write this because you have an excellent plotline and writing style but you're not conveying any realism. If you would like, I would really like to help you with it. But thats just an offer. Anyway, I admire your courage in pursuing such a difficult plot to work with, given the common portrayal of James and Lily in fandom, and canon.

Awww I feel so sorry for Lily! James is such a great git - it took her so much to trust him, and now he's gone and thrown. Even if he's genuinely sorry, she's gonna have a heck of a time trying to trust him again...
