Sorry, but I just thought about something. Have you ever considered posting your stories on more websites? Phoenixsong.net, SIYE, and Wizardtales are all great websites that would give your stories more exposure.

Wow, I must say that I have truly never read a story like this before. This story touched my heart, and was filled with love without fluff. As for one day, I will see you at a book signing. You are a truly an amazing author. I give this entire story a ten.

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it, because it was fun to write and is my favorite writing so far. Thank you.

Damn I wish you weren't leaving HP fan fic. You're an awesomely, ingeniusly talented author Steve. I will definitely keep my eyes out for future published works of yours. I totally love, love the way you tell a story. Your vision and imagedry is unbound. I thank you for sharing your creativity with us and good fortune and luck to you and your writing career. I'll be 2nd in line behind that other person who mentioned they'd be at your book signing!! *waits impatiently for book signing date...*

Author's Response: Thank you very much. As to the book signing, I'm suffering from writers block at the moment. 4 day's sitting at the computer for 4-8 hours each day this past weekend, and I got about a page that I think is worth while. Such is life.

Where do you come up with all this stuff? Omg! I absolutely love this story so far. Wonderful! Whoot!

Author's Response: You know, most writing comes from something else that the author read at one time or another. They just get this need to twist things, add things, make up whole new worlds and you get stuff like this, or JKR writing HP in the first place. Really, how different is the basic idea from that of, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, or, The Lord of the Rings??

After just finishing reading the Epilogue for Unlocked Mind. This is very cool and refreshing and I really wish to read more of your future stories whether they are HP or not. If you still have my email please let me know of any other stories you write I would absolutely love reading them. PLEASE. This is also a 2nd angst type story I've enjoyed so far.

Author's Response: I'll do my best to let you know when my own book comes out. The good news is, in a few short months, we may even be down to a month now, my best friend, and beta reader, will self publish her own book. I will e-mail you when it goes up on amazon.

Beyond that, I really have coverted you to an H/G shipper for you to have started in on reading this. Thanks for all your support and kind words.

That was a really excellent ending, Steve -- you wrapped up everything really nicely, without falling into the trap of being too slushy and sentimental.

This line made me laugh, right at the start :Harry had performed some kind of a charm on the staff at the lodge and they had all decided they needed a week off at the same time.LOL! Afer that, I knew it was all going to be plain sailing.

I thought Harry's chat with Stephanie was very good, and I am so glad that he realised how much he had wronged Ginny and how lucky he was to have found his way back. Sensible words from him aswell, which I also enjoyed.

The touches of humour were nice, the comments about Arthur and the twins' rash, and again, you got these just right. Nice touches of affectionate humour, without being forced. Very good.

I must admit I had my doubts about you carrying this story on after Ginny and Harry got together, as I don't care for when fics get too 'domestic'. You avoided this completely though, and kept everything relevant and interesting -- in other words, these last two chapters tied everything up beautifully from what had gone before - there was point and relevance to where you took this. Probably not making enough sense on this point, I hope you know what I'm getting at.

Anyway. I've enjoyed this story immensely. It was an original idea, which you carried off beautifully. Your characterisation was excellent and you created a good OC in Stephanie.

Good luck in all your future efforts! Well done.

Author's Response: Thank you once again for all of your reviews and thoughts. It has been really cool to get things that are more than just the standard "Great Job". I can always count on you to give me relevant feedback.

I agree with you about carrying the story on after Harry and Ginny got together. I just couldn't figure out where to end this. And to tell the truth, the whole story was written for months before I wrote those last two chapters. The whole "domestic" comment is dead on, and is the big problem with an "After Voldemort Story". Sooner or later, you have to let Harry have a somewhat normal life, and when you do, who wants to read about that? No conflict, no story, bored readers, yadda, yadda, yadda, and is exactly why there wil be no sequal to, Unlocked Mind.

Thanks again, and just so you know I'm thinking about starting in on your new story. Just have to decide if I can get past the pairing issues. As it's you, I'll probably give it a go.

You know, I knew the last chapter was up and I just couldn't bring myself to read it until today because I just didn't want it to end! I think you did and admirable job and gave everything closure. I think ending with the wedding was a perfect choice, kind of like a new life beginning. I really have enjoyed this story and all of your writing and while I am saddened to see you put down your fan fic quill, I am happy that you are going to work on your own stories. You are a very talented writer and you'd better e-mail me when you get that first book deal. I'll certainly make sure to drop in on your first book signing. Good luck Steve!!!

Author's Response: I wondered there for a bit. i'm sure I'll have some of the same thoughts when you finally post your last chapter. I'm glad to have entertained you, and hopefully, someday, not only will you be at my book signing, I'll be at yours. Talk to you soon.

Great ending that befits an excellent story. Thoughts to ponderÖ I love the Harry and Stephie scene about acceptance, trust and love. Now that you intend to put down / lock away your HP fan fic quill, Iíd like to thank you Steve for all the reading pleasures your stories has given me because youíre one of the best creative writers here at MNFF. Looking forward to a published book, and Iím wishing you luck and success for this project. Iíll leave you my email addy and though Iím from another part of the globe, Iíll be able to get it from Amazon. Iím that positive that all this talent would come to fruition. 10/10

Author's Response: You're welcome. I have been glad to write all this stuff, it was great fun, and it was cool to hear from people when they liked my stuff, it was even ok to hear from people who didn't. I'm glad to see you have faith in my writing ability, and will make every effort to let you know when I do publish my own work. Thanks again.
