Wow, you have a really impressive style of writing - the whole thing is like a lyrical poem. I was going to ask whether it was based on the John Donne poem (which I had to study last year, along with various others); the line "like cutting the pages of a new book, or mapping a new country" reminds me of when he's talking about the whole world being in one room, and that's exactly what this fic conveyed. Really quite beautiful, well done.
