Sad. But hopeful. Very well-written take on all the characters featured, as well as the war in general. It does seem so terrible that children lose their childhood and their lives. The flashbacks intwine very well with the rest of the story, and nothing seems awkwark, either!

I forgot one thing. I'm absolutely certain (because I've seen) that you've heard it MILLIONS of times. However, the last part of the one-shot, the paragraph that gives the story its name, is absolutely breathtaking. The personification of the flowers lends an air of life to this otherwise dead childhood that Harry, Hermione, and Ron have lost. This is their new beginning. Wonderful.

Dear lord. THAT was absolutely beautiful. You have quite a gift. I nearly cried and it's HARD to make me cry ... unless I'm emotional at the time. :-)

First of all, I loved your imagery. You commanded it very well. I also love the tense in which you wrote the tale. Admittedly, I was very sad, heartbroken, even, to read of the deaths of our favorite characters. I nearly died when I read of Ginny's death. And Luna's last words. And Neville's bravery. And the others. So sad. And still, you've shown their deaths in brilliant, vivid imagery. Fantastic job!

This story is absolutely going in my favorites. Marvelous, beautiful, magnificent.

that was really good, so sad that all those people died but i just loved the last part, when they just got to be kids again, and it was as if luna, ginny and neville were with them *sniff*

This is amazing story that you have written. It comes from deep somewhere that most people consider useless, but you've made use of it. Every word in this story comes from your thoughts, your true meaning of friendship and sadness. And of happiness, of being a child. Of dying. This is an incredible story. I congratulateyou, and thank you for writing a story of such skill for the wordl to see.

THat was so good!! I loved it! It was so sad, at the beginning. I loved the ending. And, I loved the thing about being children throughout it. It was good. I have to say, the last paragraph is my favorite. Great job!

Uhhhhh...full on. I cried. But I like how you ended it...I'm partly scared to read book seven for this very reason...I don't want to see those characters that I love die

This is a really sad fic. Really sad. But I love the theme of a lost childhood and you're imagery. The last three paragraphs were positively exquisite. This has been put on my Favs and I will always treasure it. Only concrit I can offer is that the middle section seemed to drag on with Hermione's reactions and Harry and Ron's subsequent comfort. *shrugs* But that could just be me. Excellent one-shot, Seren!

I just stumbled across this story by accident... I'm so glad I did. Hermione's anguish was very believable; it really is true that they were all basically denied a childhood. The imagery of the final paragraph definitely left me a little teary eyed. Lovely job.
