Chapter: In The Drawing Room

That was so cute and the way you wrote was exactly how Charlie is, if that makes sense... lol. anyway, very good!

Author's Response: Thanks for checking out all my work, that dedication makes everything so worthwhile for us writers. Glad you liked it!

This was really cute- it seemed so Charlie-ish. The bit when they were kids was totatly realistic for a 9 yr old and a 3 yr old.

Author's Response: I have to admit that the only bit that really bothered me was that Charlie's 9 yr old self would seem odd for a 9 yr old. I knew how Ellie was becasue of the other fic i did with her as a kid but trying to get Charlie right was what worried me. Thank Merlin you think they were realistic!

AWWWWWW!! Charlie is so cute. Not only as a kid, but as a grown up too! I like how he asked her father permission as a kid, in a way, he got a chance to ask before they died. A wonderful one-shot!!! BRAVO!

Author's Response: Having him propose all those years ago was a way of enabling him to ask her dad. Although Andrew said no all those years ago he would definitely have said yes now, althought i suppose that things might have been different between Ellie and Charlie if her parents had lived. But i'm soooo glad you liked it!

Chapter: In The Drawing Room

I'm so glad you did a one-shot on Charlie proposing to Ellie! It was very well done. My favorite part was the flashback of Ellie and Charlie playing house. So cute!

Author's Response: Kiddies are just the cutest thing, i used to play mummies and daddies with this little boy down the street and he proposed to me using two blades of grass tied together, it was very serious and romantic then but hilarious to think about now. It would never have worked, of course, what with the fact that we don't even speak to each other anymore. I'm so glad this story was a hit, everybody seems to like it so much, i must write fluffy one-shots more often.

Fluff, fluff, and more fluff. But fluff is good. The flashback scene was... BRILLIANT!!! And Charlie being all nervous, he should have known that she would say yes. Another great story!!! 10!!!

Author's Response: When you get down to it the fact is that, yes, he should have known that she would say yes, she didn't spend all those years scribbling away like a mad woman to turn around and say no! I love the fluff, i am it's humble servant!

Aaah, that was just lovely. I adored the descriptions of Ellie and Charlie as children. Three year olds are perfectly capable of being totally scathing about adults' lack of understanding and you captured this perfectly - really made me chuckle. Writers' block must be horrid for you, but it's damn good for us readers! Charlie's proposal was very romantic - I was beginning to get just as worried as Ellie. Well done Nat-Pat!

Author's Response: I really had no clue how scathing they could be until my little cousin Hannah shot me a stinker of a look, i thought i was going to die! Writer's block is kind of nasty but i seem to have recovered from it this week, i've written like ten chapters of the sequel (thanks to a little encouragement from Sorn!) and i'm actually getting really close to finishing it. Charlie was adorable nervous about proposing, it was just so sweet, i think i'm falling in love with Charlie, is that weird?

What a lovely bit of fluff! I love the flashback scene when they're all little.... so so cute! You've mastered the Charlie/Ellie ship (well duh, you're the only one writing it) but it's just beautiful! Charlie's so sneaky about the letter....Teehee, you're so great at this romance stuff. =)

Author's Response: All hail the fluff! I should hope that i've mastered the Ellie/Charlie ship it's so much easier when you've pretty much got a blank template. Charlie is a total sneak, i imagine that there's a streak of Fred and George in him. What can i say? i'm a romantic at heart!

I'm #1.... What can I say but a great addition the the story the girl who lived. I am going to to give it 150 out of 10. Sorry for such a low score but I just could not justify giving it more.

Author's Response: Watch it! I nearly fell off my bean bag again! You make me laugh so much! Thanks for the score, i will admit that i was a little disappointed with it BUT i'm going to work extra hard and make sure that i push it back up!
