this is really good- i wish you could continue it... magicalmaddie- i think it might be part of the Vow snape made to protect draco, and thats why he saved him etc... anyway, this is fantastic! i loved how well you got inside draco's head... it was so realistic.

That was an awesome story! It's short, so it's easy to read, but it puts Draco's emotions right out there for everyone to see that he really is human! Although I doubt Snape would help Malfoy that much, I enjoyed it nonetheless!

I've always liked the character Draco and was let down by the lack of good Draco fanfiction there is out there that is just about Draco or an insight. Your fanfiction agev me great hope. It was quite a treat to read and well written.

I think this is a really well written fanfic, especially as it is an angsty one - to explain, I often avoid angst fics as many times the emotion is just too in your face. I think this fic is far more subtle and so, infact, far more affecting than most. Another thing I like about this fic is the slow downward deteriation of Draco through torture and stress, but possibly the most enticing thing about this piece, which got me hooked from the first paragraph, were the refrences to Snape and his complicated relationship with Draco, which resurfeces at the in the last paragraph, which I thought was very good also - I liked the ambiguous of Snapes true position. Finally, I liked the refrences to Draco and his girlfriends, firstly it struck me as a really weird thing to say about Draco, as its never been stated that he is dating Pansy or any other girl, but then I thought and realised it reflected the way which Draco really treats her - he obviously doesn't respect her but keeps her as his 'girl'? I don't think that made any sense, but also, it made me think of lord voldermorts relationship with his death eaters, another thing that you picked up well in the writing. You've done a truly complicated topic justice, and made me feel sorry for Draco without resorting to over emotive language, so as I said, well done. Hmm.. I'm trying to think of something constructive to say, but can't really think of anything off the top of my head that could have been changed for the better. Anyway, I'll look out for any more of your work. :-)

I really like how you get into Draco's mind in this story; it really helps me to appreciate what he may have gone through. And this depiction is entirely possible when I think of that scene between him and Dumbledore and of the glimpses of him leading up to that point.
