wOw!!! i loved the way you wrote snape's part of it. that was completely amazing! and the last part...that was great! it must have taken you forever to think of something like that!! no? with the way you write, probably not. you should do an insight into the students' feelings, or something like this for cedric's death. dumb idea?? probably. cedric's death didn't affect as many people as much as Dumbledore. sorry. just another random idea... you are my favorite author on this site and i hope you write more!!!!

Author's Response: Awww--thank you so much! It's reviews like yours that keep me writing!

I think your idea for writing about reactions to Cedric's death is a good one; I just like writing about the adults for some reason. Maybe someday.

Thanks again!

That was sooooo beautiful, but i had tears in my eyes at the end. Especially at the part with Minerva. (She is my favourite character) I'm giving it 10 stars!!!

Author's Response: With a name like that, I'm not surprised about Minerva being your favorite, lol! She is great, isn't she? I'm so glad you liked how I wrote her. Thanks for reviewing!

I read a lot. -prods her lookup- As you can see, you are one of my top three authors. You have brilliant writing skills, and I'm a little too lazy to type anything right now. Except reviews. Yup....

Author's Response: Thank you! I hope my stories continue to please!

I loved this story - it's full of emotions and really reaches out to the reader. Your end line was beautiful and perfectly worded, a fabulous way to end a varied, exciting and deeply touching fic. You have an amazing way with words. Well done! 10/10

Author's Response: Well, I've got to tell you that you're pretty good with words yourself because I'm feeling very happy reading your review! Thanks so much!

What should I say that already hasn't been said? I love this piece and especially Albus's part. It was so him, that all he was thinking about Harry. Like when he still lived. And then that you gave him this feeling of triumph, he is thought to be above human faults and pettiness, like he is some kind of superhuman, but this feeling of triumph makes him a mortal being. I also liked Minerva's unrequited love, and that she was so 'demandless' about it.

Author's Response: I really appreciate your thoughtful comments on this story, joanna, esp. the bit about DD, as I'm particularly proud of that scene at the end. It is funny you should say that you also like the part about Minerva, as she was the reason I started writing fan fiction in the first place. I just kept thinking of her sorrow after DD's death, but also her resolution. I felt like I had to explore her character a bit more. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

That was really beautiful. You captured the scenes, the thoughts, the expressions, the emotions, well, everything, amazingly well. Great job!

Author's Response: Thanks for another review! I've actually been thinking about turning this story into a chaptered fic by expanding on each of the sections, so I'm glad to hear you say you like it.

Wow, I loved it, especially the ending. I was led here by recommended fics. Brilliant stuff, and very well written.

Author's Response: A recommendation...the nutty imp's? That's very cool. Thank you so much for your kind words!

Wow. I have tears in my eyes now that Iíve finished. What a beautiful, beautiful collection of thoughts and feelings. I adored how you described the feelings of the most important teachers in the school prior to and after, Dumbledoreís death. We see how not only Harry and his fellow mates are suffering, but others alongside him.

I especially loved Snapeís characterization. It explains his act towards Dumbledore, but in a different way. It shows that a person does not necessarily have to be good or bad, but that as Dumbledore has said many times, peopleís actions are so complicated that one does not understand them.

I loved it. Rating-10.

Author's Response: Thank you for your thoughtful review! After reading HBP, those last moments really preyed on me until I finally sat down to write this story. I'm so glad other HP fans understand where I was coming from!

Oh, my! The Snape scene was wonderful. I had never imagined that Snape might have thought Voldemort wanted Draco to kill Potter, not Dumbledore. Very interesting twist. And you think he hated James THAT MUCH? Again, very interesting. I love stories that flesh out what Rowling had made "minor" characters like the other professors, though, personally, I like them all very much. The descriptions were perfect. And the final out-of-body experience of Albus just gave me goosebumps, it was written so well. Poetic, really.

Author's Response: Goosebumps? poetic? That is so cool of you to say! Thank you for stopping by to read and review!

Wow Neta... that was very, very good! I particularly loved the ending with Albus becoming a phoenix - literally or metaphorically, it was brilliant! Kudos to you! =) Severus's story was thought-provoking and gave me another sufficient evidence to believe that there really is more to him than what we see in the series. I love how you emphasized how his hatred for James and Sirius was passed on to Harry. At this point, I don't have any concrit. Wonderful job! Keep writing! =)

Author's Response: You are too cool! Thanks for reading my story and offering such kind criticism!

Wow...I'm speechless...I'm not sure what to say... You have an amazing writing style that flows wonderfully but still gets the point across: a talent I've been working on for a while and have not yet managed to perfect. I envy your writing as a reader and a fellow author. I hope to read more from you in the future! Without a doubt, a definite 10!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! You've made my night!

I love how to dug deeply intheir psyche. Especially Snape's. To tell you the truth, your version sounds more believable than the theory that Dumbledore asked him to do it. You managed to make him not entirely evil / redeemable but not malign Dumbledore's character (I don't believe he'd be so heartless as to ask Snape to kill.) ^_^

Author's Response: Coming from one of my favorite authors of fan fiction, your words are especially appreciated! And, I'm with you: it would have been such a cruel thing for DD to ask, really ooc for someone who values love and redemtion so highly. Thanks for reviewing!

Wow! I cant express myself for the way you turned a sad ending into a amazing ending. You seem really intuitive!! I loved that story so much. It took my breath away! WOW! Amanda

Author's Response: Thanks! I guess I just can't stand an unhappy ending. On the other hand, Rowling did hint at that conclusion when she had Harry see that flash of "phoenix fly(ing) joyfully into the blue." I'm so glad to hear a couple of you liked my story!
