You kinda got the Snape character wrong, he would never call her a mudblood again and wouldn't be all mean to her. Because he loves her. Like it said in Deathly Hallows Severus loved Lily and when someone called someone a mudblood he starting yelling and stuff. So Snape's no a really bad person and does like Lily.
