Chapter: Draco's Reflection

Wow. I read this, and I was awed. What an original idea! The writing is so elegant! It makes you think Malfoy actually has feelings and conflicts in his mind, which I LOVE. In the real books, I used to hate Malfoy, thinking there was no point to him. But in the socth book, you can see he grows and changes like the onther characters! As my English teacher would say.. a round character... you showed that wonderfully! I LOVED it! Fabby through and through! 100 out of 10! ~luv, Mary Kate~

Author's Response: Thank you! I really like the stories that protray Draco as a person too. Lots of people think he has no feelings because, well...we see him through the filter of Harry's thoughts and emotions. I enjoy working through the minds of bad guys too :D Thanks for the review!

Wow, how well written! I love Draco fics, and this one proved to be very good. I love how you potrayed him as awful and sympathetic at the same time. Even after the horrors he commited, I feel sorry for him. The portryalal of Lucius watching his only son in pain was also quite alarming. Good job, I really enjoyed this.

Author's Response: Thanks! This is how I picture Draco...Act first, think later, at least in this circumstance. I really do feel sorry for his character, expecially after book 6. He's walked so long in his father's shadow that he has to live up to it in the only way he knows. As for Lucius...He's been in the Death Eaters' circle for so long that I feel sure that he'd be able to shut off his feelings - even for his only son. Draco is really a person to be pitied.

Chapter: Draco's Reflection

That was really good cuz it probably was the reactions of every single death eater. they were the ones who made Harry and his friends go through all of that and though the Order has to endure death and pain, they're not guilty for that death and pain, and dont have to feel guilty like the order does. I doubt Voldy is guilty, but Draco definitely is. I just don't think Draco would kill anyone... well maybe but i think he would have feelings of regret during it not after. If he couldnt kill Dumbledore, what makes him kill innocent people? I liked the story though, it was very good. Made me cry almost.

Author's Response: Glad you liked it. I believe that the reason Draco could kill innocent people but not Dumbledore is this: he knew Dumbledore for six years, maybe not personally, but he knew his headmaster by name. And it's a lot harder to harm someone you know by name rather than those with whom you are unfamiliar. He wants to make his father proud, wants to prove himself, and is caught in up in the moment while he's doing it. And even if he has regrets, he still has to do it. That was confusing, I know...But at any rate, thanks for the review!

Take 10 and many happy people. PS:Keep draco bad, I want the dark side to win in HP muwahahahahaha GOOD JOB

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it...but this was a One-shot. Sorry if that disappointed you; I really didn't intend to add any more to this fic. Maybe I'll write more Draco stories in the future - but at the moment, I have a Snape family story in the works. Thanks for the review!

Wonderful! I really love how you portray Draco, his views are so in character for him but they're just different. Beautiful writing, the morbid and dark aspect of it all is also fab-u-luhz! =)

Author's Response: Writing morbid stories is always fun, isn't it? I love picking apart the minds of bad guys. Anyways, thanks for the review!

Very nicely done! I love one-shots and this was a particularly good one. I've been wondering what Draco's initiation would have consisted of. Your version is very dark and creepy. So good! Congrats on the "Featured Story" status! :)

Author's Response: Thanks! Wow, I didn't realize that my story was featured here until I saw your review. I was wondering why I kept getting new reviews for it, seeing as it was posted around July. Thanks again!

I really like this. It's my first dark/angsty fic i have read, and i really like it. i loved the way you portrayed Draco. it was so unlike him, but it was still like him, if that makes any sense at all.

Author's Response: LOL, that makes perfect sense. It's the side of Draco we don't see, because we only ever hear about him from Harry's POV. Thanks for the review!
