YES!!! Sydney rescued Sirius, I'd love to have seen Narcissa stunned, serves her right! That plan was very quick thinking, and since it's only Voldemort's head in the fire couldn't they hex him? Or just walk out? And Somebody needs to tell Dumbledore about that fireplace, a way for Voldemort to get into the caslte is not good me thinks. Where did all the wands come from? I thought James and Lily hadn't theirs with them. And surely a severing charm would've been more sensible to remove James ropes, far less noticable. Or even a vanishing charm like James taught Lily, it would've been a nice link. Anyway, can't wait to see how they escape.

Lucius Malfoy! What a CREEP!!! Isn't it odd that both Sydney and Sirius refuse to tell any of their friends who they ended up with? If Lily knows Red Mask Guy is James, i hope she isn't disappointed. Can't wait to see what happens next. Oh, and I like Remus so much, he just observes the others antics from afar and smiles to himself, what a guy!

I love this fic, it's one of the better ones I've read from the marauder era. My favourite line from this chapter was that Lily had beauty and brains so there was obviously no room for sanity, it made me laugh out loud.
