Author's Response: When I started writing, Hermione was my favorite character. Ginny took her place eventually. But I still love her, and truth be told, JKR got it wrong. She might have paired Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ginny, but what she actually wrote, in real life (LOL as if this could be real life, it couldn't could it?) Harry and Hermione would have ended up together. Don't get me started. I've already got the story line in my head for why it's so. Someday I'll write it.
Great chapter but I'm still going to complain about Ginny being a grandstanding loose cannon.
