woah... this si probably the first piece of fiction I've ever read that makes me empathise with harry. EVEN THE REAL BOOKS! i sympathised with him, sure, but i never empathised with him before now. i dont really know how to explain - on the surface JKR does a good job with poor little harry, it's just you included a vicious side, a kind of sharpness....oh forget it, il never explain it right. all i know is you manouvered her main character better than she did. i think i sort of hate you....oj

brilliant, its excatly (However you spell it!) the way harry thinks. very well written
When I read the summary, I was thinking that Harry's revenge would be, like, fleeing the wizarding world after defeating Voldemort, or something like that. His revenge is awesome - I thought it was hilarious, and very much in tune with Harry's personality.
And I love, love, LOVE the part about Harry's parents being props. That's a perfect metaphor, and your description of that is fantastic.

This fan fiction is written in a kind of solioquay fashion. It's well written. But at the same time it just seems like a commentary on loads of stuff we already know. Like a "Last time on Harry Potter..." summary for the beginning of the book. Also it's really whiney. It's written in that angsty 'the whole world is against me' tone. Don't you think we had to endure enough of Harry's whining in book 5!!!!!
This is a WONDERFUL monologue! People try to often to thow together some depressing thoughts and call it a one-shot, but you've taken all the old stuff and put together in a fresh, heartbreaking perspective on "being a hero." This is how I will always see Harry. Thank you so much!
