little weird and contridictng... not ur best...
Author's Response: That's okay. I appreciate the feedback. :-)
SO POWERFUL.......I.. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. DO YOU WRITE POETRY? IF YOU DO, IT MUST BE AWFULLY GOOD!
Author's Response: Thanks! No, I haven't written poetry since I was in junior high and my poetry book got stolen. I never did get it back.... maybe I should start again. :-) I am writing a real book, though, and as soon as "Supervixen" gets completed and out of my head, I'll be back to that full time!
you've just inspired me on a story line, thanks!
(don't worry, im not using yours in the slightest)
Author's Response: Oooh--- let me know when u start writing it! I'll definitely want to read it!! :-)
incredible!!! the last line took me completely by surprise, at first it sounded like it was harry. anyway, i loved it. cutting is becoming alarmingly common, and i know how it feels as much as anyone. too many people see it as weak and pathetic and i'm glad that this story, without glorifying it or anything, shows it from the opinion of the person doing it. sorry, does this make any sense at all? i'm rambling, aren't i? well, i'm sorry, but the point is that i really, really liked it. well done!
Author's Response: I'm glad you got it's true meaning!!! So many people read it and are like 'um, it was well written but WTF?!!?'. You've got it exactly, and that is what I wrote it for- so people could see inside the head of a self-mutilative and maybe understand. You make perfect sense, and I'm so glad you let me know what you thought about it! Thanks!
Interesting storry. To be honest,I resented Draco before Book6.However,all throughout Book 6,I pittied him and his mother...I hope he is redeemed in the final book, and that he survives.
Author's Response: I felt for him- what, I don't know, but I'm not sure I'd use the word pity. I think he'll be redeemed, but as to whether or not he lives- I'm thinking no.
wow, that was really good. at first i thought it was harry (just like i'm sure every1 else did), but then about half way through it i thought to myself that it wouldn't be harry because that would be too obvious, and then i thought about draco, and in the end i was right. i've been reading ur other stories too, and i must say that u're probably my favorite author on here. keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad I'm held so highly to you! I appreciate it!
wow! that was great, the whole time i thought it was harry! that was very good
Author's Response: :-) Thank you!
woah. You completely tricked me. I thought it was Harry the entire time, especially with the scar on his forehead. It was a good fic in a strange way.
Author's Response: I'm glad I fooled you- that's how it was meant to be. I'm glad you appreciate the strangeness of it. I'm looking to write another 'angsty' fic, but not like this. Still angsty tho- i hope you'll read it!
I really liked it 5 stars
Author's Response: Thank you!!!!
That was terrible and horrible at the same time it was a completely awesome fic. Even though it was completely and incompairably depressing ans so so very sad, it definately rang true and real. You are an awsome writer.
Author's Response: Thanks! It's such a negative emotion in the one shot, and yet it's still positive. I'm glad you appreciated it!
you sure like those twists, don't you? That was an amazingly written story and I can't help but think that you are the most talented author on this site.
Author's Response: I DO love twists. My pet book peeve is when you can totally see what's coming. WOw. That's a huge compliment-- I thank you humbly!!!!
That's really not how you do it. You can cut to the bone, but not usually. Oh well, your story. Just some constructive criticism. From a person who knows.
Author's Response: I know exactly what you mean-- but when you're looking to the end, I guess you wouldn't care how far it goes. ...I know where you're coming from.
wow that was harsh but it makes seanse most of all it's just sad
Author's Response: I thought it made sense, too- but I'm also glad that this won't happen in my main feature story. :-) Oh Plot Bunnies... sometimes, I just wish you'd go away!
wow...very emotional...i suspect there really is more to malfoy that harry and his friends see. at first i thought it was harry, as you no doubt intended, but partway through i got to thinking it might be malfoy. its amazing how the feelings described could apply to either boy. and the thought of malfoy hating his lot in life and now having as great a life as he makes out, fits perfectly. great job, and very believable 10/10
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it- and I'm SUPER glad you thought it possible. Thanks for the praise on Draco's 'lot'- I appreciate it!
i knew it u have immpressed the unimpressable and i salute u well done you had me grabing at my own wrists at every word u r a remarkable writer
Author's Response: Thank you so much! That has a rather nice ring to it "The bartender_713- Impresses the Unimpressable!!!" Thank you very kindly!
you know what........ about half way through that i thought to myself... this isnt harry we are talking about here. this is someone else. at first i thought of snape but then i realised (or had a feeling it was malfoy) the comment about the scar on his head threw me back towards harry a little but then towards the end again i was almost sure it was malfoy! This was wonderfully written! you captured the feelings and thoughts of someone who self-harms and you expressed so well. i really feel i got a insight into the feelings of draco malfoy and how he was so desperate (as we all are) to be in control of his own life! Between reading this and also other work by yourself i am fast becoming a big fan! thanks for all your hard work! Watso295 x
Author's Response: Dear Watso- THANK YOU!!!! I'm so glad that you appreciated the subtleties that I planted in this one shot, and I'm also glad that I kept you guessing. I'm especially pleased that you thought I captured the feelings of a self-mutalitive person. I worked really hard on that to make it not only believable, but UNDERSTANDABLE from an outsiders perspective. I'm so thankful to have you as a fan, and I hope you'll keep sending out thoughtful reviews like this one- fans like you are hard to come by! I feel like I should say you're welcome- but it really is my pleasure!!! so thank you!
wow... i love the way you wrote this!! i was totally NOT expecting it to be Draco.. although i did wonder why Harry would be calling Voldemort. but i see now, it's because it's Draco, not Harry. i love the way you explained each cut or "slice" as well. it helped me understand why.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for taking the time to send me your thoughts! I'm glad the 'explaining' helped- I never really thought about it. :-)
This was a very well-written angsty fic. Not one that I like to call 'posers.' Many authors attempt at writing angst fics adn fail miserably, but this one was un-believable. I take it the student was harry? Since when does Draco have a scar on his forehead though? (Or was that just an added thing to help with the twist?) I loved the twist at the end, I was so sure (as i'm sure everyone else was too) that it was Harry.
Author's Response: I'm so glad that you appreciated it. Yes, the 'student' was Harry, and Draco had a scar (yes, it was added for convenience) from being tortured by LV when he was younger. In my head I saw it that either Lucius and/or Narcissa wasn't doing exactly what the Dark Lord wanted, so he tortured Draco in order to force his point. Unbelievable? I'll take it as a compliment. Thanks. :-)
Wait so Draco killed himself?
Author's Response: Yes, he did. I wrote it that way specifically so people would realize that often the person you least suspect is the one that's having issues. You can be so focused on someone else that you miss the person that's hurting the most.
wow, this is very dark compared to your other one. this is a very awesome story i like it. Even though i prefer to read the 'romance' ones (lol) i still like reading these sometimes. You have a wonderful talent, use it. Even though this is in this one, im looking forward to the next chapter to the sequel. one of my favorites. bueno!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, gw! It's nice to take a break from my "Prophecy" world sometimes. I'm glad you liked it, and don't worry- there's LOTS of updates coming for PoP!
