waaaahhhh!!! Tthat was indeed a beautiful ending and somewhat of a cliff-hanger.... but, you HAVE to give Draco his Hermione - for the sake of all things good! I love the story, I really do, and I think that you are a wondeful writer but you MUST update soon before the suspense gives me a heart attack.

Chapter: One Final Question

I really loved your story! It was very passionate, deep, and thoughtfully crafted. Being an idealist, I had hoped that Hermionie and Draco would have ended up together. I do not understand how Hermionie could suddenly be repelled by Draco's anger. Afterall had he not been mean to her even as their relationship grew? I guess this last time Hermionie saw genuine hatred and spite, something within Malfoy was so volatile, so animal, that she could not feel secure around him. Yet did Malfoy really decieve her in that she dismissed his snide remarks as a defense mechanism to isolate himself when really those remarks indicated the deep spite and hatred flooding Draco's veins? And I still do not understand why Draco snapped. I'm guessing is jealousy of Ron's close association w/ Hermionie and the belief that Ron did not deserve Hermionie, and that he,Draco, wanted Hermionie for himself caused him to snap. Also Hermionie finally understood him, finally somebody understood him, and now Ron was determined to take that understanding and companionship away.
And although it is plausible, I cannot believe that Malfoy disposed of the potion! And correct me if I'm wrong now he wants to become a wearewolf so he can use hunting as a way to vent his frustrations with his life? Sorry but I really don't like the's heartbreaking to read the last lines. Yet, I still think you did a masterful job of developing the characters and the plot, as well as creating suspense.
Please add the epilogue! I really must know what happens! If you have the epilogue available on another site please give me the address and I wouldn't mind hearing feedback about my questions if your story if its not too much trouble.

Chapter: Darkness Deep as Hell

Awww! That was so sweet! "... tell me... how do you melt a heart of ice?" That right right there is my favorite line among all the phrases I can remember from the fanfictions I have read. I like how the question is so genuine. It is both a rhetorical question and one to be taken literally.
I feel really sorry for Malfoy. The way Hermionie treats him reminds me of how I tend to act coldly towards those who have wronged me. Afterall are people still their fomer teenage selves? I understand how Hermionie's reaction to small talk with Draco is a defense mechanism from all those years of suffering his insults but she does not even give him a chance. Ouch! That's hurtful! I guess I should learn from this. Yet, I cannot help but plead Hermionie's case. It's not so much hatred towards Draco that dicourages her from associating with him but fear and unease bred by years of Draco intimidating and looking down on her.
You don't just get over that!
p.s: Keep up the good work!!

Chapter: Scars of the Past

I like your story so far. Its definately different from the Sweetest Sin but just as morose. Yet, I don't quite see where your story is going. I have an idea. With each passing letter the two will divulge their past, their dreams, and their doubts. And with each passing letter their relationship will grow stronger. Yet I cannot help but find the letters kind of sappy. How are they already so trusting of each other? And how is it that Draco and Hermionie, not knowing each other identites, and basically writing to strangers for all they kno have taken so well to each other? I myself have never had a secret pen pal to write to so I suppose I should not be so critical.
I guess that both Draco and Hermionie are yearning to express repressed feelings or doubts they are uncomfortable or unable to express with those close to them. Mlafoy, especially may take quickly to the letter writing becuase he has no other way of venting and desires companionship.
Also, your portrayal of Malfoy reminds me of Rowling's portrayal of Snape. To his colleagues, Malfoy is reserved, mysterious, and astute. He is respected for his intelligence but isolated by his huanting past and melancholy behavior. He keeps to himself and rarely smiles.
I look forward to reading more!

Chapter: One Final Question

In response to your A/N about many not liking this chapter, I personally think it ended well. THere's not the total closure, but it reminds me of Phantom of the Opera very strongly with the sense of Draco's pain we're left with. The triang;e formed and the pain of Hermione and Draco at its breaking are all well written, and my heart actually aches for him in his loneliness. I think you did a great job on this fic and of course I'll read the epilogues as soon as they're up, but I can also be satisfied with this ending as well. DOn't worry about the outraged fans for lack of closure, You're a good author, and this is one of the best fics I've read so far.

Chapter: One Final Question

where's the epilogue?? pls leave a note when the expected date of it is. anyways, i'd just like to say that even though they didn't end up together .. it was a great twist .. one that i never expected but that's why your so great because you pull your readers into thinking of something else yet surprising them at the right moment. aa i read this chap again, i think it's best that they didn't have a happy ending because it's more real .. something we should all be used to .. besides, this fic wouldnt be a success if it ended just like any other Dramione fic did so to those who say they hated Draco and Hermione breaking off .. well you should think first because a briliant writer wouldnt do something drastic just to make you feel bad. Okay, haha .. im so caught up .. till then i guess .. hopefuly soon ..
