lol i cant quite remember all the specifics of blood bonding, but in this story can harry and ginny send messages, like, in there heads?
Author's Response: No, I don't believe so - and I say that because it's been several years since I wrote this and would have to go back and read it, too, to make sure. Bonding is more of an emotional connection.
i was right! she is his mother! of course, ive already read this story.... lol but its been a long time!
Author's Response: lol - the most flattering compliment is for someone to read a story more than once. Thank you!
that was a great first chapter!! and i think that that woman nathan wrote to is his mum.
Author's Response: Thank you! And you might be on the right track there...
Joanna's awesome! She reminds me a lot of myself!! I love how you don't write Dumbledore as being perfect, but as fallible and I loved the way you wrote his sorrow at essentially betraying Harry and Ginny. Great Chapter!
I'm crying after reading this chapter! They're happy tears though!! Harry and Ginny's love is sooo amazing! I hope, someday.....to have something like that....
I really love how you write the fight scenes! They're so vivid; it feels like I'm actually in the battle!! Yay! Joanna's starting to come in! She's wonderful! I can't wait for her and Neville's interactions...it's so cute, and sweet! O_o rambling again! lol
Author's Response: Yay happy tears! And thank you for rambling! Neville is one of my very favorite characters so I hope you like Joanna.
Wonderful chapter! I really love Anna. I love how she sometimes blurts out things that she's thinking....I heard a saying once, it goes, "a slip of the tongue is the mind's true voice" and it reminded me of Anna. O_o I'm rambling, sorry. Anyways, great chapter! I can't wait for Joanna to come in...i really like her! :D
Author's Response: lol - Anna and I have a lot in common, unfortunately. I'm glad you enjoy her! :)
Great chapter! I hate Snape! He's so evil, and not in the outright, fighting, loatheful way of Lucius, but a more subtle, twisted, evil way! (does that make sense?) Anyways, great chapter!
Author's Response: Yes, it does make sense and that was what I was going for. Glad it worked!
Wonderful Chapter!! I loved the entire scene in the Chamber of Secrets. I also love how Nathan and Anna are interacting....you write so wonderfully! And Draco got his comeuppance!! yay! lol
Author's Response: Thank you! Anna and Nathan are one of my favorite couples. And yes, I had a beta who was quite interested in Draco getting his due. :)
lol. I love how Dumbledore gets in on the teasing of Nathan! lol That scene with Anna and Nathan in his office was really sad. :'( I can feel how much pain Nathan (and Anna) felt when she left...it's like lossing a massive part of yourself....a hole in you that no one else can fill......
Author's Response: lol - oh I remember loving that part, too! It was one of those sections that just wrote itself. Those are the fun ones! And yes, there was much pain, but from that can come goodness, too. :)
Wonderful chapter. I really love how you write the grief scenes. I love them, it really feels like you can feel their pain. O, and I really liked how everybody was teasing Nathan! lol "How fond of Anna Patterson are you now?" lol. That line was really funny. lol
Author's Response: Oh I'd forgotten that line! I loved that line, too. Nathan deserved a little teasing - he had it coming. ;)
Wonderful chapter! I really love how you write the battle/duel/fight scenes! You really do an extraordinary job; it seems so vivid and life-like....so tangible and real like I can reach out and touch it. You really are a wonderful writer! I have also been thinking about the idea of bonding....it would be incredible to have such an intimate, all-incompasing connection with the person you love. It would be absolutely incredible! (I think that's the hopeless romantic side of me. ;p ) lol. Wonderful chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you! I had a lot of help with those duel scenes from my beta so I can't take all the credit. I'm glad you like them! And yes, that bond - it does sound wonderful, doesn't it?
*cont'd* I love the fluff by the way...I'm a hopeless romantic! ;P
Author's Response: Fluff makes the world go round, doesn't it? :)
I've got a snow day today, so I'm trying to catch up my reading of your story! I've really missed being able to read it 'cause I've been really busy with school. :( Great Chapter!! I love Anna! She's so awesome, and I love the way that Nathan and she interract!
Author's Response: Brrrr...stay warm and enjoy the read!
Great chapter! I forgot how much I really like Anna! She reminds me a lot of a friend of mine! I love Anna; she's so awesome!!!
Author's Response: lol - thank you! I know that OCs aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm thrilled to hear you love Anna and that you think she fits. That makes me smile!
Great chapter! I loved the kitchen scene....well both kitchen scenes! I loved the rekindling of the relationship between Nathan and his mum, and it's soooo sad that it had to end so soon. :"( I also loved the kitchen scene at the Burrow! Great chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you! So much of life happens in a kitchen it's hard not to write about them. Glad you liked them!
Ugh...I've been so busy with school work and everything that I haven't been able to read. :( I'm back though! I love this chapter! I love how you write Malfoy, but he's so evil that I can't help but hate him. I also loved how you showed that Harry felt such a deep emptyness and pain in his chest when they were stopped mid-bond! I loved how it shows how much their bond, and more importantly their love means to one another!! (does any of that make sense?) Anyway, excellent story!!! I absolutley love it!!! In my opinion, the best Fanfic I've ever read!!!
Author's Response: lol - well, I'm glad you're back and glad you put your studies first! Malfoy was fun to write because he is just so dang evil. It was nice to write someone like that and not feel guilty making him so horrible. Glad you're enjoying it again!
Aw, the last chapter is always bitter sweet. I'm always so happy for them all because they've got a future, a wonderful future ahead, but then I realise it's the end of the fic. Unless you're writing another sequel? No pressure though, after all, living comes first. Thanks for your brilliant fics!
Author's Response: Oh my goodness! I came home from vacation to an inbox stuffed with mails saying I had a review. Thank you! They have made for wonderfully warm readings. There are things about this tale I would go back because you have such great ideas and maybe one day I will. Right now, though, I'm trying to do something original and it's slow going but it's starting to pick up. I'm afraid to get sucked back into this world because I found when I was in it, I couldn't think of anything else. Not that that is a bad thing at all because it sure is fun! I'm thrilled you enjoyed it and thank you for all the wonderful reviews - I will try to respond to each one as the days go by. Thanks again!
I loved this chapter, it gave information on the progress in the wizarding world in a very unique way. All the different points of view, their different personalities. I think the best bit, well, the funniest, was Fred and George convincing Percy of a different identity every visit, priceless! I think I guessed before everyone there that Harry and Ginny should be touching, probably for the same reason as Ron, they didn't look right not touching. It's odd that the bond would only heal if they touched, i mean it's always there even if they're apart, but perhaps they needed their combined strength to heal one another because they hadn't enough on their own.
Author's Response: Oh, Percy. I did love that. He deserved a little of it and I do believe Fred and George enjoyed dishing it out. Yes, the touching bit should have been obvious and yes, they needed each other to heal.
Wow! Just Wow!
Author's Response: Sweet!
That was very real. A battle JKR would be jealous of. I like Moody's telling McGonagall it was her job to transfigure a new moon by which they could apparate out. Would a protkey not work down there? Or is it the unstable ancient wards preventing that? I'm so glad Nathan found Anna, and that Molly went to help Percy, she knows Ginny and Harry have to face Voldemort sometime. Am I a terrible person for getting an intense satisfaction from seeing a death eater hexed? Shame Harry and Ginny need their energy or they could do that ampified blood boiling charm like in the cottage.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! That battle was a hard one to write. lol - no, you're not terrible. You're simply rooting for the good guys, as we all are!
