Chapter: Episode One: The Fangirl Menace

The first humor I was able to sit through.

This story's quality comes from its ruthless attention to details we in the world of Fan Fiction have come to accept even though we know we shouldn't. The opening scene is predictable and drawn out, but it should be! This is a deliberate (and successful) mockery of all that we stand (however stupidly) for. I loved it.

I especially liked the almost cinematic way in which you jump from one house to the next, though I don't believe there was a Hufflepuff scene. I find that hilarious (and tell me if this was deliberate) because you left out the house that leaves no one out. Clever Seren, you are so clever.

'Genius' is the best way to describe having the crew meet at the Room of Requirement. I can just picture you thinking, "Hm... If I'm the typical MNFF writer, and I need a room to meet, where do I go? (Dramatic Pause) Duh! The Room of Requirement!" It's so overdone it's laughable when you see stories using the Room even though they don't need it... Like your story. There was no point in having them go to the Room of Requirement, but no story is complete without the obligatory trip to the Room. So funny.

I have to admit it's difficult to review this chapter because most of the things I want to say I have to think twice (thrice) about... You might have done them deliberately as comic ploys.

Heh heh *gives a cruel chuckle* This was as amazing as I thought it would be. I loved the 'Merlin's Stones' and 'Mother of Circe'. The overuse of Merlin as an expletive is certainly one of my peeves. COUGH!Hermione was funny too. Hermione being attacked and slathered with make-up by Lavendar and Parvati was brilliant, that does seem to happen every time there is a ball, along with several instances of Hermione sleeping in the boys dorm. I loved the invisigirls as well. It's quite a motley crew that you have assembled in the RoR at the moment, I can't wait for Episode 2 (attack of the clones?).
