Awww, very good. I love your little flashbacks to scenes from the books; makes for a realistic feel. I like the build up as well... there's small hints between the two of them, but it's still ambiguous. Can't wait to see what happens next!

I have to agree with PhysicalGraffiti on how you write the Hermione and Harry. I also like the narrative style in which we can both of their thoughts without writing so-and so's "POV". I'm in antisapation for the next chapter. Great job!

Looks great so far! I love that you've kept Harry somewhat shy about girls- very true to his character. And I like that Hermione isn't too obvious about her crush on him, as she would never just be blatant about it. So all in all, good profiling! The descriptions were nice as well, and I hope you keep that up. I'll be looking for an update!
