Very nice. I recently read Romeo and Juliet for my english class and spent quite a few hours writing character analysis papers on both Romeo and Juliet. Both Shakespeare's and JK Rowling's characters are very complex and I love the way you made them parallel each other. I also loved the fact that you chose Draco/Juliet and Ginny/Romeo parallels rather than Ginny/Juliet and Draco/Romeo. I especially enjoyed the fact that you incorporated other characters from Romeo and Juliet and paralleled them as well, I noticed Snape/Nurse, and Harry/Rosalynn. However, I could not figure out who was representing Tybalt and Benvolio. Would you mind sharing?
Author's Response: Oh, jeeze. i don't have those character outlines anymore! Gimmme a few days and I'll get them together for you. Yeah, we thought that Draco/Juliette and Ginny/Romeo fit better for the story.
I'm not sure if you'll take this as a compliment, but your stories are my guilty pleasures. You use american swear words (In Britain, they're a LOT different), you seem determined to make Seamus and Colin gay, you include a lot of sexual refrences in your stories that JKR would never even hint at, yet I actually like reading your stories. Sooooo, update Confessions of Ginerva Molly Weasley, will you?
Author's Response: *blushy face* I'm trying, I really am!
Wow, so yes, that was a long wait. But do you know what? It was worth it. So here's cheers to Chapter Four, and wishes for Chapter Five to be just as amazing!
Author's Response: it'll be better...
I started reading this a long time ago, before I got my account, and just started reading it again. Good job! I just realized, reading the other reviews, this is a duo authorship? Anyway, I like this story, it's too bad there's not more D/G on this site. *hums phantom of the opera to self and mumbles* Masquerade! Oh yeah, I was gonna say, I really like the friendship bond thing between Draco and Snape
Author's Response: Yes, its a duo authorship. This account was made for the purpose of JaX and Transcendancer both writing stories. We have a couple other plot ideas bewing, but we want to finish this one first...
I offically heart this story, it's strange we just finished Romeo and Julet in Liturature and I see this, funny how that happens. Plus this the first G/D stpry I read :)
Author's Response: wow, what a coincidence!
Lovely. Okay, I've already left a review somewhere, but I can't help write another one...I love the Hogwarts' Newspaper thing.
Author's Response: I think we may take it out because we don't write one consistantly enough...and the more reviews ther better ;-)
This is the best Draco/Gin fic I've read so far at Mugglenet! Keep up the good work, I love your fic.
i cant wait to read what will happen next! its a really good start. keep up the good work.
Please update.love story.like chaples.the gay thing is funny.
Author's Response: Sorry it's taken so long. Chapter for is finally in queue.
great. just love this story... not too romantic not too less. just about right!
Author's Response: oh, the romance is yet to begin...
My first Draco/Ginny story and I'm loving it guys! I heart gay Seamus, he's so amusing. =)
Author's Response: you're not the only one who thinks so ;-) ^^
nice story! i really like the whole Romeo & Juliet theme and i like the way you linked to the Phantom of the Opera in the Second chapter. good job and keep writing!
Author's Response: yes, JaX and Transcendancer are both obsessed with the phantom of the opera. we may to a phantom/hp fanfic next.
That was great!!!! I love your story so far. Sory it took me so long to review, but my mom banned me from the internet for a month! it was horrible! anyway ... I can't wait until Ginny and Draco get together! That'll be so exciting! The posibilities are endless! So hurry up and post! PLEASE!!!! i also wanna find out what happens with seamus and colin! he he! Until next chapter, Bertie_Bott
Author's Response: well then we'll have to add in some random seamus/colin moments ;-) and i already knew ur mom banned u from the comp silly! duh!
oops, i forgot something. i think the 'gay' thing was repated too much and also the snape/draco being friends seems a little Oc for me. i mean he does favour slytherin students over others, but he doesn't seem like the type to get so intimate with draco. can't wait to c what happens though!
Author's Response: snape has to be like that. he's the "nurse" character to draco. if you haven't already noticed, draco is being the juliet and ginny is being the romeo. and the gay thing is just a bit of comic relief.
wow, u guys have a great story! i love it, it's so very interesting. i've read several stories that have tried to do the romeeo and juliet thing, but it wasn't as original as urs was. it's great. i was scrolling down the stories and i found one with the begining of romeo and juliet and i recognized it immediatley, as i studied it last year. good chapter and all in all, awesome story. Update soon!
Author's Response: yea, we are trying as hard as we can to stay true to the original story that shakespear wrote. that would be the only proper way to do it. thanks for the review! we really appreciate it.
Wow. Write more now. I am in love with this story.
Author's Response: well, we shall write quickly as possible. unfortunatly since transcendancer hurt her elbow from going on the computer too much, she has banned herself from typing. so it is up to JaX to type up everything, make all the edits, then send it in. she will try her hardest, obviously.
I followed you over from the forums because I really liked the excerpt that you posted. Your first chapter is pretty good. I'm interested in what's going on with Draco. I like that he's already on the good side, working with Snape and DD. I'm sure that Harry still hates him and has no idea that Draco isn't exactly his father's minion.
A couple of small criticisms, I didn't like that Neville's curses in the battle were completely useless. After OotP and the DA, I think he's really coming into his own and could probably have made a hit or two. My other piece of criticism is really a typo it's Ginevra, not Ginerva
I must say, that while I'm a bit taken aback by the Snape's casualness here, it doesn't detract from the story, in fact it may even add to it in an odd sort of way... I'm really interested to see the development of Draco's and Snape's union against Lucius. I also am curious to see how closely you follow R&J. All in all, a great first chapter!*Runs off to read next chapter*
Author's Response: well, it would be very hard to hit someone when you're bobbing around on the ceiling. that is why neville didn't hit anyone. i agree with you, neville has come a long way. but he can't aim properly if he's being levitated. i am going to clear up once and for all why snape is so casual. he's with a friend, so he acts differently then he would, say around harry. no one seems to get that. thanks for the review!
I really like what you have here so far. I'm very interested to read more!
Author's Response: why, thankyou!
spiffy story! I like Draco and Snape's relationship update soon!
Author's Response: yes, that was quite fun.
That was really great! i love it! my favorite part was with Seamus and Collin! That was a cute idea! he he! i can't wait to read the next chapter!
Author's Response: it is all up to Transcendacer to hurry up with the end of chapter three, as i have told you many times ;-)
