Chapter: Hermione's birthday

I thought this was very good. You write very well, with plenty of descriptive prose that serves to keep readers in the moment. It didn't quite seem like a normal progression for the HP gang, but as a stand-alone story, it worked. Good use of callbacks as well. Nicely done.

Author's Response: Thank you. I tried not to make it too OOC, but I remembered Ron's comment about wanting to try firewhiskey and thought it might make for an interesting fic. Thanks for taking the time to review.

Chapter: Hermione's birthday

It was quite good for such a short story (I'm assuming the "yes" next to the completed question isn't a mistake). I liked your writing style a lot, and I hope you will write more (and preferably longer) stories! -V

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. I'm working on another one-shot at the moment, probably won't be longer though!
