Announcing the 2009 Quicksilver Quill Awards!
The time has come to open nominations for the fourth annual Quicksilver Quill awards!

For those of you that don’t know, the Quicksillver Quills are a way for us to honour the very best work done by our authors, as well as betas, artists, bannermakers and reviewers, all of whom deserve recognition for the work they put in to MNFF.

There are once again eighteen categories in this years awards, and further information and nomination threads can be found at the beta boards here. Please note you must be a registered member of the forums to nominate but registration is simple and only takes a couple of minutes. We want as many people to nominate as possible to ensure we get the best pick of the stories on Mugglenet.

The categories are as follows:

Best Dark/Angsty Story
Best Humor Story
Best Romance - Canon Story
Best Romance - Non-canon Story
Best Romance - Canon Character/Original Character Story
Best Alternate Universe Story
Best Poetry
Best Marauders' Era Story
Best Post-Hogwarts Story

Best Male Other Character
Best Female Other Character

Nominations have opened today and will remain open until the 4th September. Winners will be announced on 31st October 2009.
