In Half Blood Prince when they visit WWW, Hermione picks up a 'Patented Daydream Charm' and declare's that it's 'extraordinary magic' (Draco's Detour). Fred overhears and gives her the Charm for free, and also gives her some bruise ointment.

Thanks DeadManSeven (sorry, don't know your name)... I remembered the bit about the hats, but couldn't find where it had occurred in canon. Then I got nervous that I'd read it in fanfic! Haha... thanks for the direction. Now I can look it up and refresh my memory.

Elsewhere in the HBP (I think that it's when she's warning Harry about Romilda) Hermione warns Harry that as the love potions are Weasley products, they will probably work. This implies that some don't, too.

According to the wiki, it was in April, shortly after the Easter Holidays.
