What forms do you think the twins' Patronus Charms would take? Is there a special animal associated with twins, or does anyone think of any specific animal when they think of the twins?

    Any advice would be wonderful.

How do you all think Fred would go about getting into a relationship?

I think he would be straight-forward and bold. He probably would talk about his feelings a hell of a lot but I think he would show her in the things he does.

Do you think that Fred would be romantic if he liked the girl or would he still be ignorant?

He wouldn't be gushy, chick-flick, romantic but he would be spontaniuos romantic. I might be wrong though.

What do you think Fred would look for in a girl?

Sence of humor and adventure, has lots of energy and isn't overly shy or sencitive. Can take a joke.

An animal that could be the twins Patronus is the dove. I'm not possitive but I think thats the bird that never flies alone.

    Okay, help I need!

Long explaination short, George has a girlfriend he loves, but she comes from a 'Purebloods the best' family. She doesn't see their veiws of course, but my problem isn't actually about George, its Fred. On "the morning after", things blow up in the couples face. Not what they did, but the girls cousin says tha he would never except her if he knew what she was. (A creation with Voldemorts and Belletrix's DNA. Draco's her cousin). She agree's with him and tells George they should take a break while she sorts things out.

My question is, how would Fred help/comfort George or how would he react to finding out about the hiatus in his brothers serious relationship?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

What forms do you think the twins' Patronus Charms would take? Is there a special animal associated with twins, or does anyone think of any specific animal when they think of the twins?

Hmm, the twins Patronus. now that's quite tough. Although many animals do go round in pairs, it's a male/female thing and that obviously doesn't apply to Gred and Forge. In that case I'd go for something that represents them and their cheekiness and simply duplicate it. You could make a point of saying how unusual it is to have the same Patronus. Along these lines I'd suggest a monkey of some sort (or a chimp). I know it's a cliched type of mischieviousness but then the Patronuses of any of the HP characters are cliched (Arthur's weasel for example).
The only other things I can suggest are wolf cubs - I'm thinking along the lines of Romulus and Remus - twins suckled by wolves or Siamese cats (siamese twins, perhaps). The trouble with siamese cats is that they're not particularly like Fred and George. I don't see them as cat like at all - especially as Siames cats have a reputation for being hissy and unfriendly.

My question is, how would Fred help/comfort George or how would he react to finding out about the hiatus in his brothers serious relationship?

A lot depends on how much Fred understands about the relationship. Does he know how serious they were? If he thinks it's just a fling I think he'd try and joke George out of it - maybe by poking fun at George in some way - much in the way he teased Ginny about Dean and Ron about Lavender.
Also, the thing to remember about Fred is that he's not always very kind or thoughtful. It is George who sees Harry struggling with his case in book 1. if Fred did see the relationship as a serious one, there's also the possibility that he'd be jealous because someone's taking his twin away.
Sorry, I'm not sure I've been much help.

The jealousy think, that's an idea. I never thought of that. He knows the relelationship is really serious, I just don't know how he would react to his twin getting his heart broken.

Thanks Carole, any more great advise?

Okay, so he knows the relationship is serious and he knows George's heart is broken. I think Fred is going to be upset for his brother and will probably try to get revenge or something. George, however, would hate him to do that. I can see them having a huge bust up about it. I do think that Fred would be secretly pleased that George and the girl are no longer an item. He wants his twin back that he larks around with, not a loved up brother.

If you look at the incident in DH when George loses his ear, Fred is beside himself and clearly very worried, George makes a joke which is clearly designed to comfort his brother - not his mum or dad but a joke for his broither. When it comes to the wedding Fred thinks nothing of nipping in ahead of George to escort the veela girls, when joking about his brother's ear so it's clear he's stopped feeling sympathetic about it.

On a side issue, I think that if George had died rather than Fred, then Fred would not have been able to cope as well. George was always more of the shadow, the less dominat twin, but with Fred gone he will become more his own man. If it were the otherway around, I think Fred would have diminished without his shadow.

    Hope this helps.

George was aboviously close to his brother, and J.K. has said he never really got over his death. I have theory that whatever George's Patronus took the form of before, it would have change to something that would remind him of george after his brother died. What are some animals you think this could be?

Personally, I think two orange male tabby cats. Cats are known to have identical twins, and cats have a lot of personality. They can be playful and HIGHLY entertaining, and competitive and predatory. And I think you could have both Fred and George having tabby cat Patronuses in the first place, and George wouldn't have to change his.

Except everyone seems to have cats as Patronus forms (McGonagall and Umbridge). And do you really want to tie Fred and George in with those two? Besides, Patronus charms are silver, so we wouldn't even know if the cats were orange or not.

*sigh* Still more pondering on this topic. Hopefully my upcoming Character Details class will help me to shed some light on the topic.

Well, I still like to think their (potential) Animagus and Patronus forms would be capuchin monkeys, but that's just me. I think those really suit their personality and also personifies their guardians - humour. Remember, even at the Battle of Hogwarts, the Fred didn't fight with Stunners or normal combat spells, but instead gave his enemies (Thicknesse, I believe) tentacles or something silly like that.

Capuchin monkey? Oh my god. Never thought of that, but love the idea. I think it would suit them well. Their Patronus doesn't have to repasent twins, it can be something else that repasents their twin and Capuchin monkey would probably do that.
