What I REALLY want help with: I've never attempted Next Gen before, and I know you're really good with it...I feel like I could be doing a little more with the characterization of the kids, but I'm not sure how.

What I REALLY want help with: Making Ruby (my OC) believable, and also deciding between 2nd person and 3rd limited...Also, because Ruby is from a sort of a different subculture than usually found in FF, I would like to make sure than her world is as realistic as I'm trying to make it.
Summary: (Sorry it's a terrible one) Ruby is a Muggle girl in America who meets a British boy in her math class...some of it, especially at the beginning, is not Potterverse-related, though there'll be more when she finds out more about him. (This is a bit of an unconventional fanfic, but it's definitely still fanfic.)
