Maple is available for all your beta needs! I took IB HL English, and I am fluent in French. I have been editing my friends’ papers for years, and have always achieved exceptionally high marks in English class.

Alternate Universe: This will be done on a case by case basis. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t.
Dark/Angst: Absolutely.
General: For sure.
Humour: Definately.
Romance: I will beta all heterosexual romances.
Poetry: Absolutely! I may not be the best poet myself, but I am very good at picking apart other people’s poetry.
WARNINGS:
Abuse: Only if well written and handled in a mature and accurate manor.
Alternate Universe: Usually I’m fine with this, but it will be judged on a case by case basis.
Book 6 Disregarded: This is normally ok with me.
Book 7 Disregarded: This is normally ok, though let me know what you are disregarding.
Character Death: Fine with me.
DH Spoilers: Oh no, wait, I don’t think I’ve read that book yet Just kidding, send it over.
Dubious Consent: I can give this a try.
Mental Disorders: Please do your research on this, but I will give it a shot.
Non-Consensual Sex: Only if handled maturely and isn’t too graphic.
Self Injury: Only if handled properly and fully researched.
Sexual Situations: If it is not overly graphic and is well-written.
Slash: I would appreciate if you took this elsewhere.
Student/Teacher Romance: For sure!
Substance Abuse: Only if well written and well researched.
Suicide: Only if well written and researched.
Violence: Absolutely fine.

I can use track changes or colour changes depending on what you prefer, though track changes are faster. I prefer e-mail.

Strengths: Sentence structure and flow, plot, characterisation.
Weakness: I tend to overuse commas.

My turnaround time is usually less than a week. Usually I have it done within 24 hours.

Summary: Not official summary: Basically, a one-shot that takes different scenes (that I sort of see as 'missing moments' from canon) that have to do with names. . . such as Nymphadora/Dora/Tonks, George being called Fred, "Loony" Luna, etc...

iMusic17 - I feel as if I won't be of much help to you with this story. It is AU because you are depicting a sort of wizarding war before the Epilogue, and the Epilogue suggests that ther hasn't been one since Voldemort. I'm very sorry, but I honestly think you'll be better of using someone else as a beta.

Story: A Place in This World (temporary title, as I hate it :P)

Ships: Major R/Hr, Moderate H/G, perhaps minor Nev/Luna and George/Angelina, and other canon ships (?)

Word Count: each chapter generally 1,000-2,500 words (seven chapters ready for beta-ing as of now; I don't know how long it's going to be yet)

One Shot or Chaptered: Chaptered

Expected Beta Time: As soon as possible, one chapter per one/two weeks would be ideal, unless it could be done sooner

What do you need to most help with? Although some help with British grammar would be amazing (I'm American), it's not my main concern, as I'm fairly good at American grammar, and the two aren't all that different, really. I'm mostly looking for a little bit of plot direction and some help as to stuff like: "Hey, Hermione is horribly OOC here", "This plot line is crappy and going no where". That kinda thing.

Permanent Y/N: Permanent would be brilliant, but as I'm sort of desperate, I'll take a temporary for as long as I can have 'em.

Summary: I don't really have an official summary worked out as of yet, but chapters are from either Ron or Hermione's points of view (maybe a few chapters from Ginny or Harry in the future, but not many, as they are not the main focus). Chapter One of my story starts when Harry goes to the Headmaster's office to look at the pensieve, and it follows Ron and Hermione through the end of the book (the end of DH (pre-epilogue) ends at the end of my Chapter Six). My Chapter Seven and on continue through, and hopefully, will cover the entire first year of those nineteen between DH and the Epilogue. So, yeah, it'll cover funerals, Australia, and the trio going back to school. I reckon that makes it AU, since Hermione is supposedly the only one that goes back, but I can't bear to separate Ron and Harry from Hermione and Ginny. :P
