I watch her create the sky.

It is like a dance. She lifts her wand towards the ceiling and spins around, her blue skirt twirling around her knees. Stars shoot from her wand, exploding and sparkling and fixing themselves in the air.

I clap for her. She stops her spinning and turns, breathless.

“It is beautiful, Rowena,” I praise.

“Thank you, Salazar.” She licks her full lips. “I wanted to create my own mark here, so the generations to come shall never forget me.”

I take her delicate hand in mine and kiss it. “No one could ever forget you.”
